Tried the traditional beef noodles & was highly disappointed. The broth was salty yet lacked any depth of flavor. I felt like I was eating those 99 cents cup noodles that you pour hot water onto, with an overload of salt.

I heard about this place & had to try it. I wasn't disappointed at all. The beef soup was spectacular & the noodles were fantastic. Great prices too. If you like hand made fresh noodles this is a good spot! Next time, I will try the Dan Dan noodles.

Parking around this area of town can be a pain but when I get a craving for Chinese noodles (about once a month), this is the place I go to when downtown. The dan-dan noodles are always delicious & the braised beef is very good too. The place feels kind of tight when packed with people & can get a little cold in winter when customers come in & out the door, but the food is consistently good. Service is so-so (water glasses don't get filled as often as they should) but there's always a waiter or waitress close by when you need them & they are friendly.
