Expect to be surprised by how beautiful simple & elegant this place looks. The furniture, finishes, decorations bars &, of course, a rooftop Montreal view is beyond wonderful. Be sure to reserve on a sunset hours to enjoy sky colors. For the cuisine: I decided to try their Snow crab, quite an expensive dish that left me confused. The crab had no taste similar to sea food, it tasted more like chicken. Be prepared to receive a nice dish presentation, but don't expect any gastronomical discoveries. Their korean style ribs as an entry for 20$ brought me more pleasure than anything else. Overall: Atmosphere worth the visit. Better experience than Les Enfants Terribles sharing the same location.
Amazing views from up above, good is beautiful yet delicious! Super friendly & professional staff, the exec director was also assisting with services. Loved it!

Everything was perfect! The hostess at the door was welcoming & really accommodated us well. The guy at the bar was amazing - he even created a personalized cocktail for us based on our tastes. I also had the best Pornstar Martini I've ever had! The food was also excellent, & the restaurant had a beautiful view, making the atmosphere very cozy & inviting. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!
Had an amazing dinner experience when we came here. The food was really delicious & everything was cooked beautifully. My favorite was their Huîtres au four (oysters) & Canard vieilli (duck). Our favorite cocktail was penthouse pearls, they had really tasty popping boba at the bottom. The views from this restaurant were stunning. The service was really good & they even swap out your utensils for different items. They are a bit pricey & the items are quite small but we still loved everything. Definitely would recommend trying!
Super impressed with how beautiful the view is, it's truly incredible. The restaurant itself is good, the food/drinks are obviously great but you definitely go there mostly for the view/ambiance & ready to pay for that!

Overall it was a great experience! The restaurant & bar is beautiful & very nicely decorated. The view is just amazing & i recommend going around 6:30 during summer time to see the sunset during your dining experience. The food was amazing with every dish being well balanced & presented with finesse. The staff were very friendly & professional & attentive to every guest in the restaurant. Prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. Amazing experience & I will be going back!
Beautiful restaurant - highly recommend getting a reservation during sunset to enjoy the views. The food was unique & quite delicious but portions were small. You're definitely paying for the ambience/views. Overall: four stars considering the price.
This place is a total gem!! The restaurant is beautifully designed with an incredible view of the city from the 46th floor. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. Explosion of flavors & texture. I will definitely go back to this restaurant!
Of course, the view is incomparable. Perched atop Place Ville Marie, you are above any other building & almost every one of the city's beautiful landmarks are visible. The modern & elegant decor provides a comfortable atmosphere complimented by excellent & friendly service. The cocktails are delicious, creative & do not skimp on the alcohol (to take the edge off the acrophobia) The intricate, exquisite & expertly prepared meals suit the overall ambiance perfectly &, while the portions aren't overly large, they deliver exceptional flavours that will satisfy a healthy appetite. We had a wonderful & memorable time & would gladly return in the future

Beautiful, fresh, clean atmosphere; excellent food; attentive, professional service. The view is a bonus!! My go-to for an intimate night out with friends or family. Bravo
Wow where to begin with highly overrated place called Hiatus. To begin with my girlfriend took me out here for my birthday expecting a great place to have both a beautiful view & great food but turns out all we got was a great view of the city that we had to wait 20min to get our seat even tho we reserved for 8:30pm.The waitress seemed very knowledgeable & as she described the entree dish the TARTELETTE DE FOIE GRAS which consisted of a pear ( yes the actual fruit) served with noisette,shisho & foie gras so we took a chance & tried it out ... oh my what a completely upside down experience now i get why this place sounded similar to Hiatus Invertus which translates to when your organs are upside down. The chef needs to rethink his menu that was absolutely disgusting & unedible... i dont know whats on his mind but certainly made us want to leave immediately which we did. Overall only good thing about this place is the ambiance & city view.
Hiatus has the best service around. Top notch, personal, attentive to detail & non-pretentious. Not only that but combined with the beautiful view & the delicious food, you'd be in for a wonderful time.
What a beautiful new restaurant with a view overlooking the twinkling city. The staff were great- attentive & helpful. & the food was delicious, even for me being a vegan. Can't wait to go back!

Among the most beautiful scenery in Montreal. In this classy environment, you will be served like a sultan by all the waiters & staff. Pageau helped us pick & choose our delicious meals, ended up taking wagyu beef & black cod. You have to try their bluefin tuna appetizer. In other words, Japan meets French cuisine. Well done, will be back times again. Only upgrade I could suggest is the wine list, fairly limited with +-10 products only.
Once again, an amazing evening at Hiatus!! First of, the space never fails to deliver with incredible 360 views & sunsets over the mountain. But mostly, service never cease to get better. You can tell the whole team are all industry profesionals & seem to have a beautiful chemistry between them, which makes the service all the more enjoyable. Claude (wine expert) always remembers what we had the previous time & treats us with genuine care everytime. The wine list is also incredible! Claude, Oli, Pago, Cedric, & the whole team, Thanks again for everything!!
