Went to Hiatus & tried the tasting menu. Everything was amazing. Every dish was delicious & something new for me. The service was great, the view was beautiful, & the whole experience was awesome. Definitely recommend checking it out
Maaaaaaan listen! This place is a gorgeous spot to have dinner. The surrounding windows, the view of Montreal from the 46th floor?!?! All breath taking. We had the 5 course meal & let me tell you every dish that was brought out tasted magnificent. I was there to celebrate my birthday & service was well beyond my expectations! The staff is exceptional. They truly catered in a very professional way. If I could give a thousand stars to this place I would. But there are not enough stars to describe my experience dining here for my birthday. They truly made me feel special. &, if you want a sunset view of Montreal, I suggest getting there as the sun sets because it is a breathtaking experience. I got to see the tail end of the sunset & even with that it was a gorgeous view. I would come to this restaurant over & over again.

The setting is fantastic. It provides a magnificent view of Montreal. Unfortunately the food & service were not up to par. The lunch prix fixe was supposed to be $55, but instead they priced out everything separately & it came out to more than that. They also got my friend's order wrong, so she had to wait longer for her meal. & despite the fact that I told the waitress that it was her birthday she was not offered any bubbly or small dessert! I have called the restaurant 3x to try to discuss these matters but no one has called me back. This is very bad customer service & completely unacceptable.
Best view in the city! The staff were absolutely amazing & very friendly. The food was good too. They are know for their milkbread & it does not disappoint! We also had the filet & duck which were well prepared. The chocolate dessert was decadent & their after-meal tea selection is quite nice. They can make a mean cocktail but are also nonalcoholic friendly with a two mocktails of differing sweetness level & a nonalcoholic beer.
Excellent food- the cod, the ribs, the gyoza, octopus, the steak, lobster & duck all exceeded our expectations! The dessert was average but overall, it's one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Montreal in a long time. Beautiful views & a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend!
Food was good & the view was beautiful but the service was terrible. This is a very expensive restaurant & we had to wait a really long time for drinks. Also, our waiter never asked us if we wanted any more drinks. I don't recommend this restaurant. Just go to the café a floor below & have something inexpensive there & see the same gorgeous view-save your money.
Came here for a friend's birthday. Wanted to thank Sally for organizing & being very helpful. Can't ask for better service. & the 2 servers as well! Food was okay, I'd recommend the lobster. I'd come here again for a date, but highly simply because the view is superb. Reservation highly recommended.
One of the worst experiences I ever had! My wife & i came from another province to try this place since it was our honeymoon. As person working in the industry for over 5 years i never saw a wait time like the one i had in Hiatus. Im not gonna ignore how our server was amazing & perfect & thats the reason im giving 2 stars not 1, but the wait time was horrible my reservation was at 8:15 we ordered 2 drinks they came in 15 minutes then we ordered the tasting menu first & second meals came in 20 minutes at 8:55 than we waited for 40 minutes to get the third one in the mean time one of the servers came (not our server) to ask if we want another round of drinks even this one took over 20 mins the reason was rush while i didn't see anyone coming to the restaurant & when we asked where is our food they brought the third tasting its was 9:30 we ate for 5 minutes & we ended up leaving by 10 or 9:50 because the fourth & the fifth meals didn't came & our server told us they put our bill in the front so it goes faster, my question the tickets doesn't go by order? Or what kind of restaurant is that ? U have a good view but ur kitchen is 0 so unprofessional
