Malgré le coût élevé, l'ensemble est largement recommandé pour une soirée romantique ou entre amis, avec l'espoir de revenir pour découvrir d'autres plats et profiter encore de la vue et de l'atmosphère.
Expect to be surprised by how beautiful simple & elegant this place looks. The furniture, finishes, decorations bars &, of course, a rooftop Montreal view is beyond wonderful. Be sure to reserve on a sunset hours to enjoy sky colors. For the cuisine: I decided to try their Snow crab, quite an expensive dish that left me confused. The crab had no taste similar to sea food, it tasted more like chicken. Be prepared to receive a nice dish presentation, but don't expect any gastronomical discoveries. Their korean style ribs as an entry for 20$ brought me more pleasure than anything else. Overall: Atmosphere worth the visit. Better experience than Les Enfants Terribles sharing the same location.
The view of this restaurant is exceptional, ambience is great; however, the food doesn't worth the price neither the service. When you tell your waitress that you are not in a hurry & her reply is "but you only have 2 hours". You know that this service does not worth the $. In addition, the waitress left the tab on our table without us asking or saying a word is so inappropriate. It's a place to try once, but wouldn't go back.

Amazing views from up above, good is beautiful yet delicious! Super friendly & professional staff, the exec director was also assisting with services. Loved it!
Everything was perfect! The hostess at the door was welcoming & really accommodated us well. The guy at the bar was amazing - he even created a personalized cocktail for us based on our tastes. I also had the best Pornstar Martini I've ever had! The food was also excellent, & the restaurant had a beautiful view, making the atmosphere very cozy & inviting. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

Having delightful food & flavours in an airy space with an amazing view & excellent service is the best way to have a light lunch in downtown Montreal to break up the work day. The fowl dish was memorable as well as the sweetbread tempura that came with the veal dish.
Hiatus is truly a gem. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with exceptional service that makes you feel welcomed & well taken care of. The food is absolutely delicious, with each dish perfectly crafted & full of flavor. On top of that, the view is simply breathtaking, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing & enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for a casual outing or a special occasion, Hiatus is a place that delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!
Getting to the restaurant was a bit of an adventure taking two elevators & then a set of stairs, but once there, the views were amazing. The service was great. The food was surprizingly hot & fresh considering it came all the way from the first floor kitchen. The food itself was good, but not outstanding, & the portions were among the smallest we had during our stay. All in all, it's an impressive special date night or business dinner location, but not on I would frequent.
Great views of Montréal! Loved the menu options. Food is prepared well & presentation was phenomenal. Drinks were great too. Great place to chill for lunch. Music was relaxing.
The food was mediocre, I was expecting better for the price point. The drink was absolutely HORRIBLE, made by a shaky & nervous bartender who spilled half the drink, & didn't bother to replace the spilled drink or ask for another. The only saving grace are the views from up here.

Great view of Montreal. Amazing sunset during the summer on a clear day. The bar had well curated cocktails & the food is quite good. Recommend the oysters & the ribs were amazing
What a nice view, service & food. Excellent & refined cuisine. We met Chef Gary Durand, a very nice & passionate chef. We were 6 people & loved everything we ate, the bread mmmm The oysters Sabayon oh my God, I mean everything was exceptionally tasty & fresh. We highly recommend !
Creative fusion cuisine with touch of Japanese taste on the 45th floor of 1 Place Ville Marie. Need to take a different elevator to get to the restaurant but just follow the signs, not too difficult to find. The staff were super nice & knowledgeable, great place to come for great sunset views.
Service was friendly, obviously the views are gorgeous & the decor is nice as well. Probably one of the few bathrooms that smell nice. Food is pricy for the portions & quality. The short ribs were dry. The dumplings were pretty good especially with the sauces. The milk bread was...bread. the edamame was tasty & peeled. I did enjoy my Sakura cocktail. My friend's whiskey cocktail was pretty good as well.
My husband & I had baked oysters, Japanese wagyu, & milk chocolate. I loved the atmosphere, the view, & the service. It's a great place to have a special dinner with your loved one. I reserved a table a day before to request to be seated by the window. I liked all our food. They're well-seasoned. That might be good or other people's preference, but if you are like me who likes less salt & just a simple piece of steak, just maybe ask if they can put the gravy or sauce on the side instead of pouring it on top of the steak. Other than that, it's a great evening all & all.
