Always a delight coming back to Yakitori Hibahihi. There's something really comforting about this place, it reminds me of the times when I just want to enjoy some great skewers on my own & unwind. The atmosphere is warm & relaxing, & the food never disappoints. The shishito is an absolute must-try. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
This place is so good, such a great downtown find. Food was so good & the service was so good. Everyone was nice. Try all the skewers & matcha tiramisu ☺?

Chicken skewers & beer, what more could you ask for?
Yakitori Hibahihi is certainly reminiscent of a japanese eatery; the ambiance, decor & smell of charcoal-grilled food will take you back to a lively night in Tokyo.
Although the food was on the pricier side, everything was delicious. Highly recommended for a fun night out with friends & family over some shared plates & drinks.
Best skewers spot in town! Great service as well! Tried fried chicken skin appetizer & every meat skewers except for the Wagyu one & they were all delicious. The plum beer was also a really nice discovery!
This place is a gem! From the minute you walk in you are met with smiles & warmth & a beautiful decor. The sake & wine list is great! Multiple portion options available. The menu is exactly what you want from a yakitori restaurant with cold & hot sides & even the chef's trademark sashimi bowls & ramen!
Every skewer we tasted was perfection & the Maguro dish is out of this world!!! Chutoro available too is heaven. Desserts are light & delicious to end the meal!! You leave already planning & craving your next meal there! Long live Hibahihi & chef Hiroshi!!!!! Thank you team!
Yakitori Hibahihi is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm & intimate, perfect for a relaxed evening or a special night out. Every skewer was expertly grilled-tender, flavorful, & clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The balance of smoky char & seasoning was spot on.
Our experience was made even better by our server, Flavie, who was incredibly likeable, attentive, & genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were spot-on, & she made us feel truly well taken care of without ever being intrusive.
You can really feel the care & authenticity behind every dish & the service. If you're looking for exceptional yakitori, great vibes, & a memorable dining experience, Yakitori Hibahihi is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back.
Food quality here is amazing, arguably better than yakitori in Japan. The fried chicken is light & crispy, & the skewers are perfectly tender. The only downside is the mains; the Ramen & Don portions are quite small for the price. the Ramen & Don bowls are very small & a bit pricey for the portion size, so you'll need to order plenty of skewers to fill up. Expect to spend around $80/person. Great service with the warm towels!

Yakitori Hibahihi is an exciting new venture from Hiroshi Kitano & Hideyuki Imaizumi, celebrating the art of charcoal-grilled yakitori.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering sashimi, cold & hot dishes, a few generous mains, & an excellent selection of meat & vegetable yakitori skewers. Each skewer is beautifully grilled over charcoal, delivering deep, smoky flavours.
A special mention goes to the powerful yet silent ventilation system, which keeps the air clean & comfortable-so you can enjoy sitting right in front of the open grill without leaving smelling of smoke. A refined & thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
Yakitori:
• Buta Bara (Pork belly)
• Gyu (Angus beef)
• Momo (Thigh)
• Tsukune (Meatball, egg yolk)
• Ebi (Shrimp, Chemin Hatley cheese)
• Zucchini with white miso
• Tomato with Yuzu Kosho
Cold dishes:
• Maguro: Tuna sashimi, Nori sauce, Kimizu, Wasabi
• Hiyayakko: Silken tofu, cucumber, ume, sesame
• Potato salad: Chili oil (On the side), chives, shallots
• Morokyu: Cucumber, Moromi miso sauce
I was honestly impressed - the yakitori tasted just like what I've had in Japan. Every skewer was juicy & perfectly cooked. The sides were also super authentic, & I loved the reasonable tapas-style portions so I could try a bit of everything.
As a Japanese person, being able to finish with noodles or rice made me really happy. I had the shio ramen & it was light but full of umami.
Their drink selection is amazing - especially the sake & shochu. I ordered shochu hot & it was perfect.
