The Keg Steakhouse + Bar opened the doors of its first restaurant in 1971 in Vancouver. Since then, The Keg has expanded across Canada and the US to include over 100 locations. Although its name and décor have changed over time, the dining experience has always stayed consistent. We had a bit of a wait before being seated, which was frustrating at first, but the restaurant manager Marina made up for it & That small gesture went a long way! Once we were seated, the service was excellent-friendly, attentive, & efficient. The food was absolutely worth the wait-steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were flavorful, & everything was well-presented. Overall, a great dining experience, & we'd definitely come back to this location.

My partner & I went there this evening to celebrate our anniversary & we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious & our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking. What stood out the most was the service. What was impressive was the team work amongst the waiters. As soon as we were seated we were greeted a waiter who said that our waitress was named Kelly & she would come to see us soon. Kelly was great! Attentive & answered all of our questions. When she was busy, her co-worker would step in & clear our plates or offer us more bread even if he had his own tables to attend to. You can see that they support each other when busy. Service like this makes a huge difference in the entire experience. At the end the gave us a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary which was very much appreciated. Great experience, especially service wise. David, our waiter, was amazing! He was funny, attentive, & detail-oriented. The only downside was that my calamari was overcooked/chewy & not very flavorful, but the portion was a good size. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their food.View more

We had an amazing evening at the Keg Fairview last night. Our waiter, Eric, served us so well. He was very attentive & made sure we always had what we needed. We had such a great time that we stayed very late, by far the last table there, yet he did not give even a hint of pressure to leave, not did any of the staff. The food was absolutely amazing, as were the drinks. The atmosphere was chic, cozy, & elegant. A great overall experience.View more

It was our first time at your restaurant. From the hostess to the wait staff, our experience was perfect!! We loved the dim lights & easy listening atmosphere. Our food was top notch!!! Our waiter, Marty & his trainee, Matthew, were more attentive than we have experienced in any other restaurant. I let Marty know that I had severe allergies & before we knew it your manager, Chris, came to allay any concerns I had. Truly impressive!!! My wife & I enjoyed every minute of our evening. The ambiance, food & service were impeccable. Don’t mind paying the SAQ x 3 wine prices when your wine is properly served & poured in a timely fashion. I must admit one of my pet peeves are restaurants that hit you with high ‘cork charge’... open the bottle, pour the first glass, then never return until you ask for the cheque.
Our waiter was attentive, friendly & polite. Really enjoyed our evening. Can’t wait to return.
