Hands down the best Keg in Quebec! I've been to all of them, & the Old Port location is the clear winner.
I've been coming here for over 20 years, & the food & service have always been consistently excellent.
It's truly the best steakhouse-always delivers, & the prices are more than fair for the quality & service you get.
If you're visiting Montreal, this place is a must. Plus, there's plenty of paid parking nearby, which makes it even more convenient.
Top 3 one of the best steakhouse in Montreal, all beef are dry aged to the perfection with a very good portion of food, you will not leave this place hungry, that's for sure. Overall, service was impeccable with a very chill atmosphere! Highly recommend the rib steak

Had an incredible dinner at The Keg in Old Montreal. The côte de boeuf was perfectly cooked-tender, juicy, full of flavor. Service was flawless: friendly, attentive but never pushy. The ambiance was cozy & upscale without being stiff. Great spot for a relaxed, high-quality night out. Will definitely be back!
Atmosphere is great & our server Ian was super helpful & nice. My boyfriend speaks french & I speak english so he was serving me in english & as for my partner , he was serving him in french which was very sweet of him. The food was really good but I wouldn't recommend the Iceberg salad considering it's an iceberg lettuce cut in 1/4 topped with ingredients. Thank you for the great experience :)
C'était la meilleure viande (fillet mignon) qui j'ai déjà mangé ici au Québec! Super recommande !
Recently, I dined at The Keg while in Montreal, which remains one of my favorite restaurants. I started off with a delicious onion soup that had mushrooms in it. For my main course, I chose the filet mignon-such a treat! I also ordered two cocktails: an espresso martini & a margarita.
I consistently appreciate the quality of the food & the pleasing taste of their cocktails. My experiences there have always met my expectations, & I look forward to returning with my daughter in the near future.
Sat in the lounge area. It's a lot more casual but uses the same delicious menu. I had a NY strip & they cooked it perfectly to medium rare. Mixed drinks are done well. Not half pours but a full 2oz & made well.
Service was good. Checked on us but not constantly hovering.
The attendant poured the sweet sauce on my salmon without consulting me.
I am a regular Keg customer, & at no location have I ever experienced this. The attendant, however, insisted that they have always been pouring sweet sauce on the grilled salmon.
Ruined my dinner.
Service à la clientèle hors pair. Excellent filet mignon & côté de boeuf.

I went to the Keg yesterday & had an amazing meal. Everything was perfect except the exceptional long wait time. My server went to another table 3 times before coming to mine when I was trying to get their attention. However, they were very nice & the food was top notch. I will be back.
