The clam chowder was watery & bland & contained more shrimp than clams. The fish was overcooked & therefore, dry. The Homard Thermidor was overly salty & contained no cheese that we could taste, mostly just breading. The lemon pie was the only saving grace as it was nice & tart, very difficult to find in this city. Service was friendly but they must be suffering from a shortage of staff as we had to hail the waiter a couple of times to order a few extras even though the restaurant was not operating at full capacity. A great spot for quality food. We got their burger, lobster poutine, a whole lobster, & the seared scallops. Everything tasted top notch. The best tasting thing we had was the lobster poutine. The scallops were also delicious but I would have to say the portion size was definitely on the smaller side.View more

Oysters on half-shells from New Brunswick. Not as tasty as the ones I had from SEI (St Edward Island). I would rate them 7 compared to 10 from SEI.View more

Went for diner with a group of friends. The food is slightly overpriced for what it is. I understand the markup on seafood & because its in Montreal's most touristy neighbourhood; however 30$ for a burger & 20$ for a green salad seems excessive. So stick to the seafood! It's called Lobster bar for a reason. The scallops were the highlight from what we tried, the grilled lobster was tasty but a bit dry. The risotto was great, well seasoned & comforting in cold weather. My friend having the ravioli was a bit disappointed with the portion size, so if you go for that pair it with a larger starter or dessert. Service was quick & our waiter was kind & polite. The atmosphere was a bit crowded & lighting a bit too neon bright for my liking. Conversations resonated a lot. Overall amongst the better part of Old Port restaurants but don't expect to be blown away.View more
