Our server, Will, was incredibly friendly & attentive, & he made our wedding anniversary even more special! The filet mignon & mushroom risotto are a must.
Filet mignon was amazing for many years, BUT unfortunately my last 4 visit was a desaster, the meat was never cook the way I ask. Steak was return & come back worst. I didn't even eat it & left. This is how bad it was.
Not sure what changes, grill cook must have had a bad training.
Sadly I won't go back.

To it when visiting Canada. On my latest visit Nov 29 in Montreal however both our filets showed up.. room temperature at best. No steam, no warmth, luke warm mashed potatoes. Ournserver Sam also was late with a tea because he forgot & I had to ask twice for my wine. Really feels like our steaks sat around for 10 mins before being served because (potentially) our party of 2 just wasn't of high priority on a Saturday. Room temperature $70 filet mignon is disappointing. I'll come back again to other Kegs but they shouldn't allow this
Our waiter William was very nice. My wife ordered the prime rib, my daughter ordered filet mignon, my son & i both ordered the Kansas strip steak. They were all delicious. We had sticky toffee pudding for dessert, it was amazing.
This place is fantastic. I go every time I am in Montreal for work. The food as per usual is incredible, The bacon wrapped filet mignon is grilled perfectly everytime. The servers are fantastic, although sometimes a little slow, that is only because of how packed this place can get in the evenings!
The Keg in Old Montreal never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm & attentive. The ambiance perfectly blends cozy & elegant, with beautiful stone walls & low lighting that make it feel extra special.
We ordered the filet mignon & rib steak ; both were cooked to perfection & full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, especially the garlic mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables. The cocktails were also excellent, & their wine selection paired beautifully with the meal.
What really stood out was the service , our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & timed everything perfectly. Whether you're celebrating something special or just enjoying a great night out, The Keg in Vieux Montréal is a top-notch choice. Highly recommend making a reservation!
Recently, I dined at The Keg while in Montreal, which remains one of my favorite restaurants. I started off with a delicious onion soup that had mushrooms in it. For my main course, I chose the filet mignon-such a treat! I also ordered two cocktails: an espresso martini & a margarita.
I consistently appreciate the quality of the food & the pleasing taste of their cocktails. My experiences there have always met my expectations, & I look forward to returning with my daughter in the near future.
Service à la clientèle hors pair. Excellent filet mignon & côté de boeuf.

The Keg was easily the best meal my group had on our weekend in Montreal. The four of us all got steaks & a couple cocktails. Between us we had a prime rib, a top sirloin, & 2 filet mignon. They were all top quality & well prepared. One of our group had a food allergy. The manager came to our table to assure us of the precautions the kitchen was taking to ensure the food was safe for her allergy. The service was great. Prompt, friendly, & attentive the entire time. The atmosphere in the lounge was relaxed but upscale. Overall wonderful experience!
Le Keg Steakhouse, C'est un bon steakhouse pour y passer une soirée entre amis ou en couple. Resto Bar & écrans pour regarder les matches de sports prendre un bon cocktail. L'accueil chaleureux des hôtes & l'ambiance du reto bar vous invite à venir & de passer une agréable soirée. Le service est bon & assez rapide , Les cocktails sont excellent L'entrée d'escargots gratiné c'était bien, Les soupes à l' oignons.........Nous avons été déçu.......la serveuse nous a confirmé qu'il y avait du vin dans leur soupes à l'oignon........à vrai dire nous avons goûter à une soupe qui ne goûtait que le fond de boeuf trop prononcé ce qui était désagréable.👎👎👎👎👎 Mais parcontre le filet Mignon.....excellent sur la coche👌👌👌👍....un vrai délice, les côtes levées aussi étaient excellent. 👌👍......& les cocktails.....le Keg Maitai aisi que le Keg Antnori Tosc.👍👍👍👍👍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My recent experience at Vieux Port-Steakhouse was exceptional from start to finish. For appetizers, we enjoyed the calamari & the poutine-both perfectly prepared & full of flavor. The standout dish was my entrée: bacon-wrapped filet mignon served with creamy mashed potatoes. Every bite was a dream; the filet was incredibly tender & cooked to perfection, while the bacon added a wonderful smoky touch. Our waitress was simply outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable, & went above & beyond to make the experience memorable. This place truly knows how to combine atmosphere, incredible food, & top-tier service. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

We were seated in a nice booth. Very lovely ambience. My husband & I had the French onion soup, baked garlic shrimp, & calamari for appetizers. We had the filet mignon & lobster tail dinner with twice baked potatoes for our entrees. Everything was very delicious!! We really enjoyed the steak, lobster, & French onion soup. Our server Antonin was absolutely amazing!! He was super friendly, attentive, & gave us a wonderful dining experience!! He even brought us a cheesecake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would definitely go back to dine here again.

Good service & good food. The keg has good steaks & they are reasonably priced. Onion soup was pretty good also. Filet mignon was well priced & cooked to perfection. Wine list is quite good & also reasonably priced
La cuisson du filet mignon était excellente, la variété de la poêlé de légumes très intéressante. Un service attentionné & une ambiance feutrée avec un volume pour la musique bien dosé. L'ensemble de ces éléments réunis ont sût me convaincre d'y retourner.
It was my first time eating at the Keg I've orderd the filet mignon bacon, i enjoyed & liked my food, Restaurant it's pricey but for the food it's worth it of trying the restaurant. If it your first time at the restaurant the server will explain you the menu SERVICE A1 I will return again to the Keg to try their cotelette de porc
Omg! If you're a steak fan, this is for you! I highly recommend the filet mignon "Chicago" cooked, it's awesome!
