Wow, massive disappointment given all the five star reviews. We may have made a bad choice by sitting on the patio, but that is no excuse for the incompetence that was on full display. Our server did not know what wines came by the glass, or what sides came with the mains. It took 20 minutes to even get someone to come to our table. Another 20 minutes to get Peter, who was good, to come with a bottle of wine that we did not order, to get us to taste it. Our appetizer order, tzatziki & pita took 45 minutes to arrive. Our entree, seafood pasta came cool & with very little protein, ie. seafood. Not a recommend at all. Sorry guys it just was a bad experience all around.

Honestly, this is not only one of the best Greek restaurants I have tried in Montreal; it may be the best. Places like this are very hard to find.
We had such a lovely night here, our sever Pedro(not sure if I butch his name) is awesome! He knows everything about the menu & gave great recommendations. Super friendly & easy to talk to. Food was a bit slow to come but very fresh & delicious. We ordered a bit more than needed but totally worth it, the rigatoni was such a pleasant surprised & turned out to be our favorite dish of the night. The fresh sea bass was also top notch, we loved the light use of spices as you could really taste how fresh the fish was.
We had been wanting to try this new Greek restaurant in the Old Port since it opened, & finally had the chance to go tonight with friends. Having just come back from Greece a week ago, we weren't sure what to expect-but we were pleasantly surprised.
The flavours were truly authentic, to the point where we almost felt like we were still in Greece. Even though we only tried a few items from the menu, greek salad, tzatziki, tyrokafteri, octopus, calamari, etc. everything was excellent. The fish-**Fagri (white fish)**-was perfectly deboned & absolutely delicious. The loukoumades were also very well done & a great way to finish the meal.
Everything was nicely presented, & the overall experience was very enjoyable. We're already looking forward to going back to try more of the menu.
The owners have done a remarkable job bringing Greece to Montreal! Fabulous service, wine & food. We had too much food so took our leftovers with us & the grilled chicken was equally good cold in our car ride to Quebec City the next day. We're still craving it! Highly recommend Orexi Estiatorio while in Montreal.
Excellent restaurant grec ! Les plats sont savoureux, préparés avec des produits frais & authentiques. Les grillades étaient parfaitement cuites & le tzatziki était délicieux. L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est attentionné & l'ambiance rappelle vraiment la Grèce. Les portions sont généreuses & le rapport qualité-prix est très bon. Une excellente adresse pour passer un agréable moment en famille ou entre amis. Je recommande vivement & j'y retournerai avec plaisir !
It was a wonderful experience at Orexi! The staff were extremely accommodating & made us feel at home from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The food was exceptional. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, & prepared to perfection. The quality, creativity, & consistency throughout the meal made for an unforgettable dining experience that left a lasting impression.
Ambiance was great, Server was excellent, but on a $400 bill, the 2 main dishes & the 2 most expensive items were not good, fish was advertised as boneless but contained quite a few bones even though it was plated for us. Shrimp was way overcooked & very chewy, very disappointed for those 2 main pricy items.
Hope it was a one off, out of town guest so chance of returning to verify is very unlikely.
