The food & service was fantastic. We went with our server's recommendations & we were not disappointed. Thank you Sandra. We will definitely come back when we are in Montreal again.
We arrived & were seated fairly quickly, as other reviews have mentioned the wine list was outdated & the server didnt know if they were still availible, though help was provided in picking a wine.
Our food order was taken shortly after & this is when the problems started though we didnt know it, as the waiter didnt write down our order. He then returned 10 minutes later to confirm the order which is okay as we weren't in any particular rush.
We then waited about an hour.
Suddenly a waitress appeared who was different to the original waiter & said something along the lines of'he has lost your ticket, so what was your order & we will get it out as soon as possible'.
At that point an ultimatum was issued that we would leave in 30 mins if it wasnt here, also that we would like the wine to be comped for our trouble.
They re-took our order & to their credit it came out within the time frame & the food was great.
Finally upon paying our parties'lead' declined to leave a tip due to the overall poor experience, the waiter who had made the mistake of loosing our ticket then said'i have just lost money paying for the wine' & threw a mini tantrum of sorts.
We aren't from canada or the us but we understand that tipping 15% or above is basically mandatory for baseline service, so we knew this is kind of a slap in the face but the awful service wasnt worth any tip.
Full credit to the back of house, the food was great when it came & is the only reason that this review is 2-stars.
Wow, massive disappointment given all the five star reviews. We may have made a bad choice by sitting on the patio, but that is no excuse for the incompetence that was on full display. Our server did not know what wines came by the glass, or what sides came with the mains. It took 20 minutes to even get someone to come to our table. Another 20 minutes to get Peter, who was good, to come with a bottle of wine that we did not order, to get us to taste it. Our appetizer order, tzatziki & pita took 45 minutes to arrive. Our entree, seafood pasta came cool & with very little protein, ie. seafood. Not a recommend at all. Sorry guys it just was a bad experience all around.

We went there a couple of times & the food is always incredible, best greek restaurant in town. The zucchini & eggplant chips are the best in addition to the octopus

From the appetizers to the main courses, everything is prepared with care, balance, & character. The service is genuine, the atmosphere is beautiful, & the flavors are unforgettable. Honestly, this is not only one of the best Greek restaurants I have tried in Montreal; it may be the best. Places like this are very hard to find.
We had such a lovely night here, our sever Pedro(not sure if I butch his name) is awesome! He knows everything about the menu & gave great recommendations. Super friendly & easy to talk to. Food was a bit slow to come but very fresh & delicious. We ordered a bit more than needed but totally worth it, the rigatoni was such a pleasant surprised & turned out to be our favorite dish of the night. The fresh sea bass was also top notch, we loved the light use of spices as you could really taste how fresh the fish was.
