Incredibly impressed with food & service. Was in town for Osheaga Music fest, had never heard of them; manager came out to confirm allergens, rib steak was cooked to perfection (blue rare). Was not expecting that level of attentiveness, they are now a baseline for dining I will compare others too. Splendid!
We were served by Veronique. She was amazing, a credit to the restaurant. The food was also really good & reasonably priced for what we had. If we are in the area we would definitely visit again.
We've had one of the best steaks ever😋 & the staff was super nice & friendly.

Looks like a great spot for dinner in the winter but during the summer it's quite dark inside & definitely very cold due to A/C
Sehr freundliche Kellner. Man kann schön draußen sitzen in der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt. Das Essen war perfekt. Eines der besten Steaks, die ich bisher hatte. Genauso gebraten wie wir es uns jeweils gewünscht haben. Preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber den Preis definitiv wert.
One of the best spots in Montreal, hands down. From the quality of food to the outstanding service, everything was on point. Shoutout to our waiter Charles for being incredibly patient, attentive, & kind. He even surprised us with dessert on the house. Rare to find service like this in MTL. Worth every penny, would go back a hundred times over.
Hôtesse à l'entrée qui dit qu'il n'y a aucune table de disponible avant plusieurs heures & qui fait semblant de nous mettre sur la liste d'attente. J'ai finalement moi-même faire la réservation en ligne & plusieurs disponibilités.
Nous avons été servis par Laurianne ce soir. Service absolument impeccable! Courtoise & amicale. Elle ne nous a pas brusqués , nous qui voulions apprécier cette belle soirée d'été. , mais toujours présente & à l'affût . La nourriture était excellente & la cuisson de mon steak , parfaite !
Nous sommes arrivés sans réservation après une très mauvaise expérience ailleurs, & quelle belle surprise ! Toute l'équipe nous a accueillis avec chaleur, mais un remerciement tout particulier au serveur (grand, brun, aux ongles vernis argentés) qui a été absolument exceptionnel du début à la fin.
Il a su transformer notre soirée, qui avait très mal commencé, en un vrai moment de bonheur. Gentillesse, humour, attention, service irréprochable… & même un dessert offert pour célébrer nos 1 an de mariage. On s'est sentis réellement pris en compte & entourés avec bienveillance.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe. Grâce à vous, cette soirée restera un beau souvenir.
Joe the bartender is amazing. Guy never stops moving & smiling. Food was excellent. Had the vegetable salad with chicken & the tuna tartare. The tuna tartare was the as good as anywhere I have been.
The Keg in Old Montreal never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm & attentive. The ambiance perfectly blends cozy & elegant, with beautiful stone walls & low lighting that make it feel extra special.
We ordered the filet mignon & rib steak ; both were cooked to perfection & full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, especially the garlic mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables. The cocktails were also excellent, & their wine selection paired beautifully with the meal.
What really stood out was the service , our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & timed everything perfectly. Whether you're celebrating something special or just enjoying a great night out, The Keg in Vieux Montréal is a top-notch choice. Highly recommend making a reservation!
Samantha was our server. We family with us who weren't sure what cut of steak to order. She was polite & took her time to describe the cuts, menu options, & tenderness of each steak. All staff were very helpful & pleasant. Our meal was wonderful & surpassed expectations! Thank you to all Keg staff for an excellent experience!
I think I had a wrong idea about the Keg. First time here & dont think I would come back. It wasnt bad, it was just okay, I was expecting a higher culinary level but everything tasted kind of bland. Generally, ok experience.
The Keg always delivers.
We arrived late after having called to notify them about the traffic situation. The reception was very accommodating. Once we arrived, we were immediately seated.
Our waitress Samantha, was unbelievable. Genuinely friendly, kind, smiling from the first moment. She answered all our questions & made it seem that anything was possible. Food arrived on time, & the steak prepared exactly as per our order. She came back several times to be sure all was going well. We never felt rushed nor had any perception of overselling. Her attentiveness was a rare experience ( I have eaten all over the world, & this waitress was a rare diamond).

Toujours un bon accueil.
Des tables & un service très propres & au petit soin.
Une valeur sûre pour manger une bonne viande dont la Surlonge de boeuf peu connue en France.
Le seul point qui m a marqué est le bruit. Peut être parce que je ne suis pas habitué à la manière que les canadiens parlent un peu fort.
Pour une soirée en couple ou entre amis, c'est une valeur sûre.
