The Keg was amazing! Wonderful service & recommendations from William. The Caesar salad, the steak & mushrooms, crab legs, & twice baked potato were all so tasty - & to top it off, we were surprised with dessert for our celebration right after! Not sure what the dessert was called, but that alone would have been enough to bring my back, as it the main course wasn't! The ice cream like cake was so good, tasted like a Heath Bar, & very creamy!!
Had a great experience, don't come to The Keg very often but it's always been great. Thank you Daniel for serving my wife & I tonight!
Visited with a work party - had options for vegetarian / GF ppl here as well. Risotto was really tasty & well made, one of the best risottos I've had.
The only con is that the waitress could've nudged me to order an entree as well - I didn't realise everyone else had ordered one (thought the salads with steaks are side dishes) which was a bit awkward.
Good quality meat & the waiters are always there to give recommendations. The appetizers are pretty good & they have a good selection of seafood also.
Good food. Calamari was tasty, loved the batter. Garlic mash was fantastically seasoned. The NY strip was cooked perfectly, the only complaint & only reason why this isn't a 5 star is that I found the steak wasn't seasoned enough.
I asked the waiter to have my
Bacon put on the side of the streak so it could be cooked well done. He ain't bring it that way & when I brought it to his attention he didn't offer to get me a new piece.

This place is fantastic. I go every time I am in Montreal for work. The food as per usual is incredible, The bacon wrapped filet mignon is grilled perfectly everytime. The servers are fantastic, although sometimes a little slow, that is only because of how packed this place can get in the evenings!

The espresso martini is perfectly bitter, the beef tartare is amazingly executed. The mushroom risotto with the Chardonnay is a amazing combination.

We were immediately asked by our server Anthony, if we were celebrating anything, we were celebrating our 15th anniversary. We were treated amazingly. Food was amazing the staff was all very nice. Anthony made the dinner extra special for us & we would recommend trying this restaurant if you're in Old Montreal. The building itself was originally built in 1856.
