Good service & good food. The keg has good steaks & they are reasonably priced. Onion soup was pretty good also. Filet mignon was well priced & cooked to perfection. Wine list is quite good & also reasonably priced
Qualité de la nourriture correct, service impeccable & ambiance bonne. Frites congelées & rib steak manque de saveur. Pour le prix affiché ça pourrais être mieux.
Nella parte bar é possibile trovare posto per cenare tranquillamente, le proposte sono interessanti anche se con prezzi alti, ma la qualità é ottima.
I booked online for dinner, party of 6, it was a breeze. Parking is tricky with Montreal never-ending construction. We were seated right away. Outstanding & efficient service. I had the lobster bisque, it's my favorite & they make it so well. The bread is always fresh & hot off the oven with amazing butter. I had to control myself & not take more bread 😂 as I was offered. We all ordered the steak to be medium. Mine was more toward medium-well but was good. The top sirloin was fantastic. The fries were great, not greasy, perfectly salted. The Pina Colada was very well made, 10/10. We were full so didn't have dessert or coffee but will do that next time around. A solid recommendation if you're in the mood for stake, just emphasize how you want your meat done.
My family & I never bother looking for restaurants when it's someone's birthday we are at The Keg because we are never disappointed but we unfortunately had a different experience at this location. Our steaks didn't feel & taste fresh & my medium well steak was well done, dry in the center & tough. The calamari was great as usual though. One of my sisters steaks was bitter to taste & overcooked so she had it redone... now her new steak was good & tasted fresh & exactly like it should have (Glad she had a good steak). I'm giving the restaurant a 3 simply because I can't remove points for service & atmosphere.
Great food. Slow service, especially when leaving. Took nearly 20 minutes between asking for the check & it being brought to our table. Otherwise great eatery. Best thing we ate by far was the Gruyére Mushroom Dip. The bread was fresh, light & crispy. The dip was perfectly spiced creamy & decadent. The ribs were good but the side sauce outshined the meat in that dish. The fries were soggy & under seasoned.
Our dinner here was fantastic! My husband's escargot was the best he's ever had. The lobster Bisque was also outstanding! We each had the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection & very flavorful! We enjoyed it very much!
nice restaurant, seafoods are fresh. Seasoning is good. However my steak is a bit dry. Staffs are so friendly
If I could give 10 stars I would! Best steaks I've ever eaten in my life! The environment is beautiful, luxurious, & at the same time cozy. Perfect for any occasion. The service is extremely professional & friendly. We went with friends, & we had a little mix up with the order, & some dishes were wrong. Because some of us got his order later & the whole company couldn't eat all together, staff apologized sincerely, redid all the dish (not just the steak but also replaced potatoes that were getting cold) & gave us each a dessert option on the house. Wonderful night, positive emotions only.
Very slow service - waited over half an hour to get our apéritifs & then starters came straight after & before the wine. Steaks were ok - nothing special & chips were past their best - warm & soggy. Generally disappointing& all round average. They need more staff & I expect a steakhouse to do better with their steaks.

Incredible service!! Our server, Angelo, was delightful, & went above & beyond to accommodate every one of us. Claire, the manager, was terrific & explained how the chefs would prepare our food according to our dietary needs. As usual, the steaks were perfection. & the delicious moka ice cream cake was la pièce de résistance!! It was a great evening!!
