One of the best places where you can get amazing steak & excellent service. Last time we went was last Monday after watching the solar eclipse. Food was amazing & service was like never before. The New York steak is the best especially when it is made Chicago style. It is one of a kind in Montreal. I highly recommend them.
This is my third visit, & it is always getting better. Tried the sirloin steak with lobster, & it was perfect We had as well
The staff was nice. The food was late by about 30 minutes (after they told us 10 minutes) so they gave us a shrimp cocktail on the house. The steak was rubbery, & I couldn't chew half of it. Had I mentioned something, I'm sure they would have done something about it, but the meal took so long that we just wanted to leave.
Top notch across the board from the food to the staff to the ambiance. & highly underrated - air conditioned. Not a given in Montréal during the summer.

Burger was fine & delicious Waiter was nice & patience & they had good service BUT for such place, cesar salad was really disappointing Even the look of it wasn't good at all & it was more like left over!! I wouldn't order it again if i come back
The place was very busy. As a tour group we were seated up stairs & promptly served. The food was delicious.

KEG is a chain store steakhouse but with a quality 2-3 notches better than the other Canadian top steakhouse. There are four stores in Montreal, & I tried two. I also tried one in Ottawa. Best quality & consistent. Everything you need, nothing you don't. I tried Jacob's dry aged in Toronto. The pretentiousness at Jacob's leaves a pretty negative impression, while KEG makes me feel that everything is just right. I will keep coming back.
The Keg was our favorite out of the other 2 steak houses that we visited. I have a ribeye at all 3 & the Keg was the clear winner. Our server was Sydney & she was awesome! Great location within walking distance to all the shops & fun! We dressed casual & made this great stop for dinner. We didn't have reservations & still got a table in less than 5 minutes.
It was doubly fun watching the staff cheer on France against Portugal! Service was unhindered & the food was great. The passion for European football was contagious!
