Afficher toutnoodle(420) soup(122) beef(81) broth(78) spicy(39) recommend(37) rapide(36) bowl(35) busy(32) fresh(29) huge(27) salad(26)Tasty, heart warming soup with noodles. Highly recommend to reach there early before the place gets crowded at lunch & dinner times - wait time can be long (not fun during winters!) The broth always has the right level of spice & flavour ! After multiple visits there - each time I've walked out satisfied & wanting to go back again soon!
Yum,yum, yuuuuummmmmm. My friend has been urging me to go for noodles forever & because I wasn't a fan of the broth,I was reluctant & often hesitant, but the noodles I had were AMAZING!I love the fact that they make the noodles in front of you is a cherry on top.I had a large bowl full of flavour & I savored every bite. In addition, the interior design of the resto made the experience much mkre immersive.I would recommend investing!
Nouilles de Lan Zhou easily earns 5 stars for offering the best Chinese noodles I've ever had. From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away by the rich & authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of traditional Chinese cuisine. The noodles are hand-pulled with incredible precision, creating a texture that is both perfectly chewy & tender, a hallmark of genuine craftsmanship. The broth & seasoning were equally impressive, with layers of flavors that were complex yet balanced, providing a truly memorable dining experience. The variety of noodle dishes on the menu is remarkable, catering to both adventurous eaters & those who prefer more familiar tastes. The restaurant itself boasts a warm & inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a comforting meal. The staff were attentive & knowledgeable, always ready to provide recommendations or explain the dishes with a smile. Whether you're a fan of Chinese cuisine or just looking to try something new, Nouilles de Lan Zhou is an absolute must-visit. This place redefines what authentic Chinese noodles should taste like, & I cannot recommend it enough.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently visited Nouilles de Lan Zhou, & it was a culinary experience I won't soon forget! The atmosphere is vibrant & inviting, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in. What truly sets this noodle shop apart is the mesmerizing sight of the chefs making fresh noodles right in the window. It's not just a meal; it's a show! The homemade noodles are nothing short of incredible-chewy, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. Each dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of noodle culture. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. If you're looking for a unique dining experience with delicious food & a lively atmosphere, Nouilles de Lan Zhou is the place to be. I can't wait to go back for another bowl of those amazing noodles! Highly recommend! 🍜✨
Highly recommended 👌👌 Portion is huge, even its small size. Taste better than i expected 🥰
You know the unspoken golden rule when it comes to restaurants. If people are waiting in line, food will most probably be worth it. *Went again mid August 2025* & it was totally worth it , solid 5 in terms of taste I took the number 2. Please be ready to wait as : 1) waiting line. 2) small place. 3) they are busy. Very busy. Immensely satisfied. I had my chili oil on the side. Strongly recommend the hand pulled noodles. ( This is not a fancy sit down with lots of cushioned chairs & large tables, this is a small intimate place which delivers warm & comfort food for the soul)
Food : Perfect, so delicious Portion: Big, got the small but was enough for me Worth: it worth it! really affordable Service: okay, we were four ppl, but seat on 3 seats table with one child chair :( My order: Dan Dan (noodle type from left middle one on the menu) Recommend: ✅️
Great authentic chinese noodle spot. Great taste & portion. Definitely recommend
When you see people lined up for noodle soup at 83F, you know this place is legit. This place serves good hand-pulled noodles & the service was pretty quick. The place itself is small & divided into 2 seating sections. I recommend coming here early especially if you have a big group. They have 7 types of noodles & number 7 is the most favorite one. The noodles are chewy, not too thick, & slurping good! The highly recommended noodle soup has a clear, fresh broth & tender meat. It's so good! & their dandan noodles is also superb although not spicy enough if you enjoy spicy food.
This place is really good! We've eaten there twice in the past week & will probably go again before we leave Montreal at the end of the month. Highly recommend!
The dan dan noodles & the other dish in the pictures are a must get. The small size is the best way to share & try more stuff & trust me the portions are still large for a small size. The interior is extremely cramped & is really hot. The bathroom is a totally different story. One of the nicest, sleekest, most modern bathrooms I have ever seen. Why is the bathroom better than the dining area of this restaurant? I would definitely recommend to take-out your food & eat it at a public table nearby. The experience of waiting in the long line to get in with the hot air exhaust in your face & the cramped & a little less hot inside seating is not worth the noddle, alrhough they are homemade chewy & delicious.
I recommend the Dandan bowl of noodles. It's the most flavourful dish. The soups are ok. They offer a combo. Main, one side & a tea egg. This puts u under 20$. The spicy cucumber salad was very good. So were the edamame. We felt rushed to order not quite understanding the option. Service is quick with a high turnover as there is always a queue outside. No a/c here.
The food is fresh & good Waiting is long, terrible service, hygiene is average Impossible to sit in in the summer because if the heat, no air conditioning Not recommend at all
Probably the most popular restaurant of Montreal's Chinatown. Lan Zhou Noodles has been a staple of hand-pulled noodles for many years. I suggest ordering the original noodles with medium sized noodles. Beware the portions are very big (even a small is filling!). The line is very long, so I recommend coming in at odd-hours. P.s. you can even visit the grocery store downstairs!
La place où manger des nouilles fraîche, incroyable bon comme plat recommandé à 100% arrivez tôt souvent de l'attente mais Worth it
Come here earlier to avoid the long line. We got here at around 11:45am & waited for 15 mins before getting seated on a Sunday. Quite hot in the resto as they don't have AC but service is quick. We ordered the dan dan, Lanzhou & Zhajiangmian. Highly recommend the dan dan noodles. It was very well flavoured & not too spicy. Zhajiangmian was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall really good noodles! Would come again.
