L'ambiance est cosy et nostalgique, le service généralement attentif et sympathique, et la carte des vins ainsi que l'accueil sont souvent loués; toutefois les périodes d'affluence peuvent entraîner des files d'attente et des retards. Le rapport qualité prix est perçu comme favorable, notamment pour les familles et les groupes, même si certaines visites signalent des assaisonnements inégaux ou des plats manquant d'un certain peps et des portions qui varient selon les visites.

We started with a pitcher of sangria & it was easily the best sangria in town! Fresh, bursting with amazing flavors, & perfectly balanced with a mix of fruits, it was smooth & refreshing. The alcohol was subtle, making it the perfect drink to complement our meal.
The shrimp alfredo was an absolute standout. The creamy sauce was rich, velvety, & packed with flavor, coating every bite of the al dente pasta. But the real highlight? The giant, chunky shrimp-perfectly marinated & cooked to perfection. Every bite was indulgent & satisfying.
The olive sauce pasta & lamb shank were equally impressive. The lamb was so tender it was literally falling off the bone, bursting with rich, savory flavors. The alioli sauce on the pasta was light & delicious, complementing the dish beautifully.
We ended our meal with the best tiramisu in Montreal -**juicy, moist, & perfectly thick layers of rich coffee-infused cream, delicately balanced with thin, airy cake.** It was the perfect way to finish an unforgettable meal. Thank you L'Usine de Spaghetti! Amazing!
C'est mon restau où je vais manger à chaque fois que je vais dans le Vieux-Port! Belle ambiance, service impeccable à chaque visite, plat chaud & délicieux. Je le fais découvrir à tous mes amis, même chose pour mes filles qui y sont habituées depuis leur tendre enfance. De plus, très abordable.

Pasta dishes were good & the portions were healthy & generous. I had the lamb chops that were seasoned perfectly with a touch of sweetness. The pesto pasta that accompanied it was VERY garlicky so be forewarned. My husband had the special pasta of the evening which was a sausage & rapini orecchiette & my mother in law & daughter shared spaghetti with 2 generous sized meatballs that they bot enjoyed. Was also a really great atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, the restaurant transports you to another era with its time-period themed furnishings. The ambiance alone is worth the visit, earning a full 5 stars. Our hostess was incredibly attentive & welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service throughout the meal was impeccable, deserving another 5 stars. However, the food itself, while decent, didn't quite live up to the enchanting atmosphere or the excellent service. We'd give the dishes a 3 out of 5. While the portions were generous & the ingredients fresh, the flavors lacked a certain depth & complexity. Overall, L'Usine de Spaghetti provides a memorable dining experience thanks to its unique ambiance & outstanding service. With a little more attention to the nuances of flavor in their dishes, this restaurant could easily reach a 5-star rating.
The lobster linguini & lamb chops spaghetti are worth trying! The lamb chops are tender, though its spaghetti is just okay. They also offer a free salad bar, & the complimentary bread comes in two types, a classic baguette & a flavorful onion-garlic option, both are good. However, the restaurant is too popular & often crowded, so the service can be a bit slow.
We recently dined at this restaurant , & the food was outstanding. The lamb chops with pesto spaghetti were the absolute highlight of the meal-perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor. Their salad bar was fresh & well-stocked, & the tiramisu was a deliciously creamy treat to end the meal. However, the service could use a bit of improvement. Our starter was forgotten, & we weren't offered fresh Parmesan or pepper, which would have enhanced the experience. Despite these minor issues, the quality of the food makes L'Usine de Spaghetti worth a visit!

The perfect place for a nice dinner with a friend or a date. The pasta was good but the lamb chops were some of the best I've ever had. I savored every bite until my plate was clean. The atmosphere was slightly intimate but not overly romantic. The prices were somewhat high but after eating the food I understood why. It's that good. If you ever want some good pasta this should be the top of your list.
Sehr gutes und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Kostenfreie Salatbar, sowie Brot und Butter. Zudem super Service und angenehmes Ambiente. Daher sehr zu empfehlen!
Comida excelente e os pratos sao muito fartos. Boas opções de bebidas. A sopa de cebola é imperdível de tao deliciosa. O sistema é all inclusive ou seja, você tem direito a sobremesa, café ou chá. Só as bebidas nao estao incluídas. Ambiente bonito é atendimento impecável.

Wow 😍 petit restaurant coup de coeur dans le vieux montreal 👌 le service est impeccable, la nourriture est excellente, l'ambiance est super. Je le recommande fortement
Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir waren um 19.10 Uhr dort und mussten ca.20 Minuten warten. Derweil haben wir die Speisekarte studiert und wussten auch schon, was wir bestellen wollen. Unsere Hummerlinguine waren sehr gut und die Kellnerin hat uns Wein probieren lassen und schließlich haben wir jeder einen halben Liter WeißWein und Rotwein bestellt, der auch sehr gut war. Schade, dass wir wohl von Deutschland nie mehr nach Montreal kommen werden, aber es bleibt eine schöne Erinnerung.
Für das Ambiente würde ich wenn es möglich wäre sogar mehr Sterne vergeben. Gerade der Nebenraum ist eine Schau. Salatbar ist inklusive, Gerichte sehr lecker, Bedienung sympathisch und vorausschauend.

Although located in the heart of a very touristy area of Montreal, L'Usine de Spaghetti is anything but a typical tourist trap. The Spaghetti St. Paul & the Spaghetti St. Leonard are both excellent, the sauces full of flavor but not overly spicy. The fettucini with lamb was also excellent & cooked nicely. The salad bar is nothing to write home about, but the service is very friendly & the prices are fair for the portions you receive. This restaurant won't change your life, but you'll eat well without putting a hole in your wallet. You can certainly dine a lot worse in the Vieux Port for a lot more money.
I ordered the spaghetti with duck & omg it was angelic ! It's very tasty, i love the decor & ambiance is extremely welcoming. Only downside is that it's a family oriented restaurant, so you may hear kids or babies crying, which is not a big deal, but if you want something more romantic, & or business related, it's probably not the best place for you.
Service, atmosphere & salad bar good but food is not very good! Complementary bread was dry & tasted like frozen bread. Overall, I think the price for what we got was good considering it was in the middle of old montreal. It felt like it was a place for tourists! The main dishes were too salty & felt like I could have made them at home. Mushroom risotto: not a lot of mushrooms, oily & lacked flavour. Lobster pasta: nothing amazing The sauce lacked character. Lamb chops & pesto pasta: nice lamb chops & pasta was pretty good. Would recommend out of all the dishes. Salad bar: fresh salad & side dishes!
We ordered lamb shank & duck confit. It was seriously incredible. We're thinking of coming again before our vacation is done. Would recommend coming here!
