This is such a cute restaurant & the decor is absolutely amazing. I got the smoked meat pasta & it was AMAZING like genuinely I would eat that everyday for the rest of my life. I also got an apple martini & it was delicious we were a little disappointed by the salad bar because we thought it would be build your own salad but it's just premade salads but they're still really good. The garlic butter for the bread is also amazing. It's cold so it doesn't spread well & the bread is nothing special but the taste of the butter makes it all worth it.
The atmosphere & customer service were outstanding. They have a mini buffet bar which is great, but the pasta flavor was a bit boring, the meat balls were huge but dry, good thing was the portion was big.

This restaurant holds such a special place in our hearts. It's where we came to eat after my husband proposed to me, & ever since, it has become a tradition for us to come back every time we visit Montreal. The food is consistently incredible - full of flavor, beautifully prepared, & truly unforgettable. The open bar experience adds such a fun & welcoming touch, & the service is always attentive, warm, & professional.
We've brought family & friends here over the years, & every single person has fallen in love with it just as much as we have. It's one of those places that never disappoints. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, & wonderful memories every single time. Highly recommend!
Pâtes excellente & le pain inclus un bel ajout. Le bar à salade est bien. Bonne sélection de vin. Le service super rapide & courtois. Beaucoup aimé le vibe. Prix plus qu'abordable pour la qualité du plat, du service & de l'espace.
L'Usine de Spaghetti is superb! The nostalgic feel of the dining area added to the quality of our experience. The salad bar & entrees were among the best in our dining experiences which includes Europe.

Service attentif & souriant, plats appétissants & bons, bar à salade varié & a volonté . Prix corrects dans u n quartier très touristique. A recommander, très belle cave à vins
The all you can eat salad bar & tasty pasta were the best things about this place! Service & atmosphere were great. We got the linguine & veg spaghetti for our main meals.
Quand nous avons le goûts d'excellentes pâtes dans une atmosphère décontractée & sans flafla, c'est à l'Usine qu'il faut aller. Nous y sommes venus plusieurs fois dans les dernières années & nous ne sommes jamais déçus. Bar à salades & pain gratuit en entrée. Le personnel est sympathique, courtois & rapide. Un endroit charmant à découvrir si vous passez dans le Vieux-Port. Il n'y a pas de réservations, alors il faut prévoir de l'attente, mais ce n'est jamais très long.
Atmosphere is nice but I feel compelled to WARN people about the food. The meatball tasted like they put a big chunk of meat into a ball with ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING. So dry & awful. & the meat sauce, equally as awful & again, no seasoning.
My son got the fettuccine alfredo & since that sauce only has 3 ingredients, they SHOULD be nailing it. BUT they didn't put enough parmigiana so it wasn't salty enough. AGAIN, ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOUR.
The bread basket was dry, day old bread that crumbled apart because it was so dry. & the accompanying butter wasn't soft so it was hard to put the two together.
Now to the most BIZARRE salad bar EVER. Huge chunks of kale, the most challenging'lettuce' to chew while raw. & that's it, no normal lettuce. Why not some Romano? Then there's the coleslaw with WAY TOO MUCH MAYO? At an Italian restaurant? The ONE edible thing was the potato salad, but again, at an Italian restaurant? This salad bar needs a serious re-think.
Hubby got the chicken parmesan & it was SO DRY, NO SEASONING & caked on mozzarella, which was the only good part. But I can get a cheap slice of pizza if I want a slab of cooked mozzarella.
Not sure HOW this restaurant is getting decent reviews. It seems impossible to me! Literally the WORST Italian restaurant I've EVER experienced. & we had to pay a steep price for REALLY bad food. I'm sad because we work so hard for our money.

Une valeur sûre du vieux port ! Les pâtes sont vraiment délicieuse & le menu est très variés y a pour tous les goûts 🤩
Le bar à salade est aussi très bon
Love the menu concept that was named after places in Montreal. Came here twice so we've got to try several dishes here & we love them all. Free salad bar & bread as appetizers both for lunch & dinner. The staffs were also amazing. Lovely space to visit if you come to Old Port (small note that it's first come first serve, they don't take reservations)
We stopped into this darling little Italian place for lunch while on a visit from California. We were absolutely delighted with our whole experience - the cheerful service, the lovely ambience, & the delicious food! We enjoyed the salad bar (definitely have the potato salad, it was very good) & bread. The onion roll was our favorite. My husband had the spaghetti & meatballs & absolutely LOVED it. The meatballs were fantastic!! I thoroughly enjoyed the tortellini with rosé sauce. The tortellini was very light, the filling was creamy, & the beautifully balanced sauce was the perfect blend of red & white. Honestly, we ate here on the second to last day of our 6 day trip & our only disappointment was that we didn't find it on day 1 or 2 so we could have gone back for more! Next time we are in Montreal you will definitely be on our list!

The food was pretty average! Nothing special! We got Salad bar which was a total disappointment & Alfredo chicken which felt short of our lowest expectations! This is a place that we will never try again!
After a boat ride in Montreal Port, we decided to check this place out & I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing & the atmosphere was beautiful. I did appreciate the salad bar as well. Definitely will be back
It's been so long since I've been to this part of Montreal. This was a recommendation from a friend, & it was a long shot because it was a super busy evening. Line went super fast though, & I got their traditional spaghetti & meatballs. Hands down best pasta I've ever had, & I've been to Italy. The salad bar was so good too! & the wait staff were all wearing these hilarious T-shirts with pasta puns, & even though it was super busy they all seemed to be enjoying themselves & were wonderful workers.
Delicious food, server was very kind & attentive. Waited for almost 40 mins for a large table for 7 people but it is worthy. No reservation needed first come first serve. Complimentary salad bar available
