From the moment you step in, very warm & romantic ambience.

We shared two dishes. The mushroom risotto (special of the day) was excellent. Very flavorful.

The confit duck leg tasted perfect.

Not overly expensive like some of the other italian places in the area.

Thanks for the lovely meal.

Nous y étions à 14h, c'était très calme, nous pensions que le restaurant était fermé. Finalement nous avons été reçues par un gentil jeune homme, il a été agréable & serviable du début à la fin.
Côté nourriture passez votre chemin si vous aimez bien manger. Les quantités sont correctes mais le goût & la qualité n'y sont pas. Le risotto champignons est arrivé dans une soupe d'huile avec des champignons en boîte, honteux quand on sait que le plat coûte 26 dollars. J'ai tenté de le manger mais certains champignons étaient caoutchouteux & spongieux sous la dent, impossible. J'ai fini par trier tous les champignons & manger que le riz qui nageait dans l'huile.

Bref. Je n'y retournerai plus. 26 dollars (sans taxes ni pourboire) c'est bien trop cher pour un plat aussi qualitatif que du surgelé dans une épicerie, & encore...

Nous somme des habitués de cet établissement, nous y allons souvent sur l'heure du dîner entre collègues & avons toujours été très satisfaits sauf aujourd'hui. Tout d'abord, il n'est plus possible de réserver pour des groupes sur l'heure du lunch (ce que nous faisons une fois par mois depuis plus de 10 ans) & en plus de nous faire imposer 18% de pourboire pour le service, quand nous avons dû nous même allé chercher la serveuse à plusieurs reprises (pour les pains, les additions...). Enfin, jamais la serveuse n'est venue nous demander si nous désirions d'autres consommations, un café, un dessert...c'est vraiment dommage, nous étions de très fidèles clients qui allons changer nos habitudes.

Highly recommend L'Usine de Spaghetti! Excellent service, homemade food, the highlight for me was the desserts.
The shrimp in the fettuccine were extremely large. The portions are enough for 2 meals. The bread & salad bar are a nice touch. Excellent value at this restaurant.

Wow!! Perfect dinner spot in the heart of Old Port Montreal. Charming historical atmosphere, reasonable prices, dinner comes with rolls & salad bar (coleslaw, chickpeas, kale, sweet potato). We had melt in your mouth lamb shank & fresh pasta, fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken, & mushroom risotto - all delicious, very generous portions. & our server was very friendly & attentive. Wonderful!!!
