Need to fix how they seat customers & choose who to serve first.

Our small group arrives. No line up. Asked to wait. Sit at bar for 10mins or so & try to order drinks but wait staff just keeps coming & going making drinks. You're invisible.

Another small group enters. Within 1 min we are told table is ready. We get taken to some empty tables & told to pick one.

We sit & immediately after the other group sits at a table next to us. Server is there with water for their table before they can sit down. Ok I'm sure we're next who cares.

Server comes back with bread for the other table. Ok we're next right? Nope. A few mins later the server returns empty handed & takes their order.

Now I'm like wtf. So ask for manager. A different server finally comes instead. Makes up some lame excuse & starts to go on about how they all have different tables & keep their own tips. We're like ok what does that have to do with us feeling ignored & invisible? What did we do wrong?

We placed ordered, ate & gtfo. Had dessert at a different restaurant.

Maybe people after us were their best friends or something. I don't know. But we don't get that crap elsewhere so we will go there instead from now on.

Visited this beautiful restaurant inside July 2026 with my daughter in a Vieux Port. Beautiful inside & out. The wait staff were very nice, knowledgeable & engaging. We both decided to order the Linguine Jacque Cartier. They also provided a generous bread basket. So so good. Had visited in Sept 2025 so this was a repeat visit. Loved everything about our experience. Will visit again!

The linguine with blue cheese was incredible. The most inventive way I have had blue cheese. My family hates blue cheese & they all loved this dish. That says it all. Also had the boar rigatoni which was very good. The chicken parm was delicious & the lasagna was pretty good but that was the weakest dish. The service was top notch. The table bread came with some flavoured butter which was very nice. The all you can eat salad bar was a fun touch & & old school vibe I loved. The ambiance is amazing. The price was right. The wait is worth it. Just make sure that when you give your name you stay in line to hear your name called.

This was a great find after a busy day of wandering old montreal. Service was friendly & efficient. Portions are generous & tasty. Salad bar was small & features premade salads-they were tasty but didn't work so well for my goal of getting fruits & veggies into my kids on vacation. Bread was fresh & we would have eaten more but needed to save room for our mains.

Spaghetti with meat sauce & the daily special of meat lasagne were big hits. I had the Plateau Mount Royal, with the smoked meat & the cheese melted on top-delicious! I couldn't finish but that cheese was so tasty, I tried my best.

Highly recommend L'Usine de Spaghetti! Excellent service, homemade food, the highlight for me was the desserts.
The shrimp in the fettuccine were extremely large. The portions are enough for 2 meals. The bread & salad bar are a nice touch. Excellent value at this restaurant.

So far we have visited twice.
4 x Dishes down & we can't believe how amazing the dishes have been.
To include bread & a lovely little salad bar in what you pay is unbelieveable.
So worth the very very short walk from the Square.
Welcome & service from staff,the same waitress served us twice & was outstanding.
This has to be the best food we have had in Montreal without doubt.
Wines,Spirit options & amazing on taps beers for all tastes can't be faulted.
Michelin star restaurants elsewhere have not in our opinion been as good.
PUT THIS ON YOUR MUST VISIT LIST!!

This is such a cute restaurant & the decor is absolutely amazing. I got the smoked meat pasta & it was AMAZING like genuinely I would eat that everyday for the rest of my life. I also got an apple martini & it was delicious we were a little disappointed by the salad bar because we thought it would be build your own salad but it's just premade salads but they're still really good. The garlic butter for the bread is also amazing. It's cold so it doesn't spread well & the bread is nothing special but the taste of the butter makes it all worth it.

I thought I'd get into a tourist trap for going to a restaurant in the Old Port, but was pleasantly surprised. Went there with a couple of friends visiting from another province & really enjoyed. There was a line, it was busy, but it went by quickly. Service was good, all-you-can-eat bread & good portions of the main courses!
