Magnifique, bon service & nourriture très bonne, les drinks sont hors de prix cependant. Si tu hésite entre la & les enfants terrible d'en dessous, le choix est évident.
Not the worst experience but I'd recommend visiting Les enfants terribles just next door for the same, or even better views of the city (& much better food). The food was extremely overpriced without being "wow" & I genuinely feel scammed over the $250 I paid for the tiny amount of wagyu that was served. When I told a friend who works as a chef in a renowned fine dining restaurant in the city, she informed me that, for that amount, even her restaurant would not charge over $50, despite using the highest grade of wagyu available. That 500% markup for no good reason is just crazy. Overall, the food was actually good. Just disappointed in the portions & service time. It might not have been too long of a wait, had we been able to enjoy our cocktails; however, they were way too acidic so we left them untouched.
Sans intérêt. Comme pour les enfants terribles. On paye le rooftop , l'emplacement , mais sincèrement le rapport qualité / prix vraiment moyen. La nourriture est juste bof. Le cocktail est classique. Déception totale. C'est sympa sur insta mais sans aucun intérêt. Gardez votre argent. Passez votre chemin.
Incroyable expérience, vue à couper le souffle, plats parfaitement maîtrisés, nous avons eu une soirée exceptionnelle! Le service était parfait, les plats tous aussi délicieux les uns que les autres. Gros coup de coeur pour le foie gras & les huîtres en sabayon , ainsi que le pain au lait si fondant, c'était d'une justesse absolue ! Le seul bémol : on a eu du mal à trouver l'entrée de la tour car beaucoup de portes sont condamnées !
The is one of the best places to put on your list whenever you're in Montreal. It's a little tricky to locate the restaurant so I have added extra information on the pictures. You will be treating yourself to a phenomenal night view of the city & some really great food & drinks. Do well to order the Newton's Law cocktail, you will thank me you did. Awesome service! Cédric m'a accueilli d'une façon exceptionnelle. Ma première expérience fut mémorable. Les attentions du détail & le service m'ont fait sentir à la hauteur de l'élégance du restaurant. Merci pour ton accueil absolument parfait. Sophie aussi était excellente & professionnelle. Xoxox
We loved everything on the menu especially the foie gras tart had to order it twice. Service was excellent Olivier suggested a great wine to go with carefully curated dishes & Olinto gave excellent service from beginning to end-so much attention to detail. A great time & a breathtaking view. Definitely will be back.
Les sushis était excellent, le service très aimable & l'ambiance est juste incroyable, la sérénité qu'il s'y dégage & la vue impressionnante, le prix est un peu élevé mais cela les vaut bien !
Je remercie toute l'équipe de nous avoir fait vivre une expérience unique à Montréal. Je voudrais aussi souligner au maître d'art Barman Cédric situé au deuxième étage. Il est certain que je repasse revivre cette expérience il a su clairement définir que veut dire l'hospitalité!!! Si vous êtes de passage à Montréal ou venez de Montréal & envie de découvrir quelques chose de différent vous savez où vous rendre Hiatus avec Cédric!
Beautiful, fresh, clean atmosphere; excellent food; attentive, professional service. The view is a bonus!! My go-to for an intimate night out with friends or family. Bravo

Lorsque J'ai commandé un verre de vin, le serveur ne connaissait pas les vins, alors il a dû aller s'informer. Il n'y avait pas de sommelier sur place.
Overall the value of the restaurant doesn't match the price. Attention to detail wasn't there. Ambiance of dining area is amazing. Restrooms could use an update - does not match the rest of the decor at all.
Hostess upon main entrance said i had no reservation, & the reservation I had was cancelled (at a completely different time than what I had booked). I showed her my booking email & txt.
Server had good suggestions for the service schedule. Unfortunately it didn't pan out as he had suggested. He had a great attitude though. Overall service was ok, long waits to see/talk to server during service. Perhaps too little servers, too many bussers etc? Even though hostess knew we were speaking English she still provided French menus (although asked if that was ok when she was seating us - why didn't she ask before? Made us think she didn't realize until we got to the table & she was too lazy to go back to switch?). As well all of the serving staff kept explaining the dishes to us in French - our main server had to keep telling them as he walked by, but he wasn't always walking by when they would be explaining.
Timing of 1st service was fine. Foie gras tarte lacked depth - tarte itself wasn't very pleasant to eat, dry & super hard. Chawanmushi super tasty, oddly very creamy though - am used to a more silky set egg chawanmushi.
Drink order was not timed well for 2nd service. Finished it before being asked about wine etc. Oysters were great - lovely sauce.
Mains were fine. Mashed potatoes w oxtail yummm. Sablefish - something about the tiny cubed veg was really annoying to eat. Server suggested bread to come w this service but we had to follow up w someone else that we saw walking by to ask about it. Bread was underwhelming - super dry, dense & lacked any flavour. Butter that it came with helped.
Asked for a coffee but never received it. Server comped a wine to make up for it - appreciated gesture.
Silverware was not polished - most sets I received had flecks of leftover food on it.
Overall felt like it needed a lot of operational work. Space made up for a lot of the other unfortunately lacklustre experience.
The service was found sadly pretentious. I made a reservation for the bar in the restaurant for my partner's birthday to share a cocktail before a show, & the host decided to downgrade us to the service area of the downstairs bar even though I had made a reservation & it was only 40% full. When I asked to move upstairs (where I had hoped us to celebrate) it was accommodated but were made to feel like we didn't belong & that he was doing us a favor. Apart from this we had a lovely time & will likely be back.
