Originally from Sichuan, China, in 1994, Haidilao Hot Pot is the largest direct-managed Chinese hot pot brand in China and a globally recognized Chinese restaurant chain, with the total number of customer visits now exceeding 1 billion.
Fondue Haidilao consistently earns praise for high-quality, fresh ingredients and flavorful broths, delivering an immersive hot pot experience with interactive features like noodle dances and birthday celebrations. The service is repeatedly described as attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and festive, with a broad sauce bar and extensive selections of meat, vegetables, and noodles that invite customization. The all-you-can-eat option in the evening is a popular draw for groups. However, it can be very busy with long waits, cramped seating at times, and occasional service hiccups, especially on off nights; language barriers at the front desk are also noted by some. Alcohol is not served. Overall, Fondue Haidilao is viewed as a standout, experiential restaurant where food quality and service excellence create a memorable, repeat-worthy visit, even if prices can feel high to some guests.
Steven was amazingly patient, friendly, & helpful, amazing service & treated us so kindly. He made the experience 100x better. I will be coming back because of him.

Le temps d'attente était un peu long vu que c'était rush hour sinon c'était une bonne expérience! Le serveur Olivier très mignon, gentil & il explique bien :)
Super amazing food! I loved it so much the flavors were amazing, the onion brothers was fire. Oliver's service was great too. $50 pp & $30 AYCE after 9pm on weekdays.
Amazing first experience with Haidilao! The wide variety of options to choose from was a delight, though the service is truly what seals this place at five stars for me.
Our waitress Marie was an absolute sweetheart. She was energetic, attentive & very friendly! She truly curated one of my favourite dining experiences in a minute.
I had one of the worst service experiences I have ever had at Haidilao.
We arrived around 4:30 PM, & since the AYCE offer ends at 5:00 PM, we simply wanted to ask whether we were still eligible. When we asked the staff member at the front desk, she did not answer our question at all. She just kept looking down at his iPad & then turned to help other customers. We felt completely ignored.
After we were seated, no one came to explain the available combos or assist us. We had to raise our hands & ask before someone finally came over.
Even when all the dishes were served, no one gave us aprons. Once again, we had to ask for them ourselves.
What made the experience even worse was that, in the middle of our meal, a server suddenly put a bowl on our table without us asking for them or explaining anything. It felt random & confusing. On top of that, the meat we ordered took an extremely long time to arrive. By the time it finally came, we had already finished eating. A server then brought over a plate of meat & said it was ours, but at that point we were already done. It was honestly so frustrating & speechless.
This experience was completely different from the level of service Haidilao is known for. Compared to our previous visits, the service this time was disorganized, inattentive, & extremely disappointing. Definitely one of the worst dining experiences I've had.
We had such a good experience. Our server Will take such a good care of us & suggest lots of nice food to order. The broth was delicious & everything we ordered. We will come back soon for sure.
