Food was very tasty. Loved it. Portions were a little smaller than I was expecting. Really liked the coconut chicken broth, & the sauce bar. It was fun having the hand-pulled noodle dance at the table. The food presentation was tidy & sensible - the shelves are a smart idea to help organize dishes. I love the secret code culture, & little prizes. Clean place, friendly service.

J'ai TOUT aimé de cet endroit découvert par le plus grand des hasard en fouinant un restos sur Google map. J'ai lu les avis antérieur & j'ai pas été déçu. WOW.
D'abord l'accueil. Dès mon arrivée touts les serveurs ont été exceptionnel. Super souriant, gentil, & attentionné. J'ai pas mangé beaucoup car j'ai fait l'erreur de boire 3 grands verres d'eau & j'ai mangé 2 ramen.
J'ai regarder autour comment les gens fesait puisque j'avais aucun expérience en hot pot.
Je ne savais même pas manger avec des baguettes & je me suis bien débrouiller je crois.
Le bar a sauce & légumes permet une grande variété d'options. Les légumes sont super frais & la table à condiments est très froide & propre.
Le bouillon était très savoureux. Je ne me souviens plus du nom (sucré piquant)
Le dernier de la première ligne du menu tout en haut.
Faites gaffes j'ai teouvé 2 mini os de poulets dans les hauts de cuisses dans le bar à légumes. Un enfant ne l'aurait avaler.
J'y reviendrai assurément à mon prochain séjour à Montréal.
5 ⭐ aux 2 serveurs très attentionnés qui ont répondus à toutes mes questions.

First time in haidilao Montreal. I've been to haidilao in other locations- CA & NY, but this was the first time I see that haidilao has AYCE in the downtown Montreal location. Highly recommend making reservations because it can be busy. It was $50 CAD for AYCE & there's an $79 CAD option as well. There was also just an option to opt out of the AYCE & order by selection.

I think the selection for $50 was plenty as there is the bar for all the vegetables, fish balls, beef balls, noodles, & only only meat selection for AYCE 50 CAD was fatty beef & lamb. They allow one shrimp paste per person & one a5 wagyu per person.
Service was great & the sauce stations stayed cleaned. Bathrooms were also clean.

Amazing experience! The service was easily 5 stars & probably some of the best I've ever had. The staff went above & beyond, they peeled our shrimp, skimmed the broth throughout the meal, & kept topping it up whenever needed. It really made the experience feel special.

We did the all-you-can-eat option, which gave us access to the sauce bar & fridge, & we had a blast. Everything we tried was fresh & delicious, & honestly, I don't have anything negative to say. I'll definitely be back!

Did the à la carte, quarter broth option. Amazing food (fresh, decent portions, tasty soup, loots of sauce ingredients), our very kind & helpful server Roy made the Haidilao experience memorable. Would definitely recommend this place!

Je vais peut-être aller à contre-courant des tendances mais notre expérience a été mitigée. Le décor est ordinaire, rien de spécial. La nourriture est bonne, les bouillons aussi. Le bar à sauces est très appréciable. & on a aimé le petit à-côté offert avec le mot de passe! Par contre c'est une place assez dispendieuse, & au niveau du service nous avons attendu nos légumes & nos nouilles presque une heure! Alors certes le gars doit faire sa danse des nouilles partout dans le resto, ça je comprends, mais pour les légumes ça prend juste quelques secondes à amener de la cuisine.
Nous donnerons peut-être une seconde chance mais à date ce n'est pas la meilleure place de fondue à Montréal.

Une bonne expérience partagée en famille. L'accueil est chaleureux & le service est attentionné.?La fondue est délicieuse, variée & personnalisable à l'infini, un vrai voyage culinaire. La prochaine fois j'explore davantage le bar à sauce! Petite précision, le bouillon'épicé standard' est déjà à un bon niveau 🔥

Had a really good experience overall. The service was great - staff were friendly & attentive, especially Will, who helped with bringing sauces & serving dishes, which made everything much easier. The food was tasty & the ingredients felt fresh. The sauce bar also had a wide variety of options, which I really liked. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Would definitely recommend.

Oliver was so helpful in explaining the concept to me & not making me feel stupid about how to do everything on the AYCE. & his sauce creations were perfection! I would come back if I knew I could sit at his table!!

This was such a great experience!! The food was nice & fresh the oysters were so yummy! There was a a sauce station with a whole lot of option for toppings. The staff were sooo kind & the there was even a guy who did a noodle dance! In general this place is soo much fun.
