The vegetables were fresh, the fish & meats were great quality, & the sauces were delicious. The place is spotless & has a really good atmosphere. Even the restroom shows how much they care, with Listerine, hand cream, & Q-tips available for customers.
A special shout-out to our waitress, Carine. She was welcoming, professional, quick, attentive, & respectful, & she made our night with friends wonderful. At the end, we even received a small gift. This restaurant truly knows how to take care of its customers.

We went on a Tuesday night & unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
The meat was very poor quality, & some of the cuts were simply inedible. The restaurant advertises an'all-you-can-eat' formula, but only 3-4 choices of meat seem to be included, while the other options come at an additional cost. To me, this is not really what you expect when you see'all-you-can-eat.'
The vegetable bar was also very limited, with only a few choices available. As for the ramen, we had to ask three times before getting some, & we waited approximately 30 minutes before it was finally refilled.
The most disappointing part is that we paid $211 for our meal (2 adults & 2 children), including the tip, & despite spending that much, we didn't even leave feeling full. For a restaurant advertising an'all-you-can-eat' experience, we found this extremely disappointing. The value for the price is simply not there.
If you want to have a real hot pot experience, go to Fondue Pékin on the South Shore. 🍲
The only major positive point of our evening was our server. She was very kind, attentive, & always available to help us. She really did her best despite the issues we encountered.

If you had to listen to one review it's mine here. I am asian & ate at every top or affordable restaurant you can name including few michelin stars that everyone has recommended or known wether it's chinese or any culture. This restaurant was very bad, horrible meats, no quality or good food control. If you're paying 70$ to eat the meat & etc, you're better off going to another all you can like Gyubee who actually servers good meat for the same price. We ate not even a plate of meat & we couldn't eat anymore. Worst experience of hot pot I ever had, you're paying thin slice of meat found at your nearby cheap grocery store. Service was ok, but you basically order yourself on your ipad so it's not really a service besides them bringing the food. Very long too, took forever to bring some platers & only gave us an hour & a half to sit & eat.
I visited this hot pot restaurant yesterday & unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
The service was poorly organized. The staff did not seem well trained & could not clearly explain the menu or pricing. Service was slow throughout the meal. One of our dishes was completely forgotten by the kitchen & only arrived after we reminded them. By that point, we were almost finished eating. No apology or explanation was offered.
The prices were extremely high. Compared with similar hot pot restaurants, the cost was about twice as much, yet the food quality & service did not justify the price. Portions were small & the overall value was poor.
The food itself was average at best. The fish maw chicken soup had a large amount of foam floating on top, making it look more like a pre-made soup base than a freshly prepared broth.
The dining area was also very cramped, with tables packed closely together. What concerned me most was the noodle-pulling performance. During the show, the noodles were repeatedly swung around & did touch the floor, yet they were still placed directly into the hot pot. This raised serious concerns about food hygiene.
Overall, the service, food quality, atmosphere, & value for money all fell well below expectations. For the price charged, I expected a much better experience.
I will not be returning & would not recommend this restaurant.

When this Haidilao first opened, it was amazing. I used to come here twice a week because both the food & service were excellent. However, over time, the quality has continued to decline. This location is honestly not on the same level as Haidilao in Toronto.
i visited about six months ago, & I already felt the service was quite poor. Because of that experience, I didn't come back for half a year. Last week, I decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, the service was still disappointing, the food was average, & the prices had become even more expensive.
No more benefits for silver membership, no more box tissue, you need to pour water for yourself…total different service than before!
If your restaurant's reputation is built around exceptional service, then staff training should be taken more seriously. Sadly, after giving it multiple chances, I won't be coming back.
I'm just glad that we finally have Haidilao in Montreal. Haidilao is hotpot chain that is well known for their food quality & top notch service. The broth, the meat cuts, the vegetables & seafood are just so fresh & tasty.
The service at Montreal location is getting better everyday. The food is also very fresh with great variety. Today service & food are just amazing. We were seen & accomodated by great staff, especially shoutout to Jason!

As always, haidilao never missed! It's super good & the meat is the best quality you can find for a Chinese hot pot in Montreal. Ou server Will, was the best & very accommodating all evening! I recommend 100%!!
