Restaurant Benjamin presents a warm, refined French steakhouse atmosphere with attentive, professional service and consistently excellent food. The menu features flavorful steaks, creative cocktails, and a thoughtful wine list that together create memorable experiences for celebrations and business dinners, though a few reviews mention price and occasional pacing or service quirks.
This was the first time dining at Benjamin. We had made reservations for 7.15. We arrived at 7.30 after notifying the restaurant that we would be 15 minutes late. When we arrived & were seated we were informed that we would have to leave by 9.30. For a top rated restaurant this was unacceptable & found it to be rude. I ordered the 18oz rib eye my friend ordered the lobster. Our wives ordered salad & & snails. The service was good. The food was ok, but no where as good as the prices charged. We won't return. Gibby's is far better.
Excellent souper d'affaires au Restaurant Benjamin ! Dès les premières bouchées, le ton était donné : filet de bar fondant, bavette de boeuf maîtrisée à la perfection, tataki de thon d'une fraîcheur remarquable. Les desserts ? Un Paris-Brest qui a conclu la soirée en beauté. Belle carte des vins, service attentionné avec Daniela & David aux commandes. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour une occasion spéciale.

Excellent & kind service provided by Valter. The food was amazing. The best bavette au poivre (& french fries) we had for many years (& we love our meat). Highly recommend !
Daniella nous as donné une expérience incroyable! De A à Z, le service ne laissait rien à désirer. Un martini phénoménal suivi d'une recommandation de vin parfaite pour notre steak porterhouse, notre expérience était exceptionnelle! Venez voir Daniella pour une soirée à s'en rappeler!
Absolutely delectable, my expectations were surpassed. Even the asparagus were heavenly, with a subtle flavour rather than its bitter usual self. I will definitely be returning.
We ate 2 wonderful dinners here. The food was so delicious. I am not normally a dessert person but could not recommend the'frozen soufleé' & the'iles flotant' highly enough as well as the filet mignon. The service we received was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nous avons été assez déçus par l'expérience globale.
Le plat de porterhouse était très moyen & surtout extrêmement cher pour ce que c'est (250 $), ce qui est difficile à justifier. Les autres plats - linguines & bavette de boeuf - étaient également très ordinaires, rappelant davantage des plats de bars sportifs que d'un restaurant de ce standing.
Le dessert (mousse au chocolat) était correct, autour de 7/10.
Côté service, le gérant était souriant & agréable, mais la serveuse parlait très rapidement, ce qui rendait la communication un peu difficile.
En revanche, le cadre du restaurant est vraiment beau & chic.
En résumé, bel endroit, mais la qualité des plats ne suit pas les prix affichés
Déjà 3 visites au Restaurant Benjamin & jamais déçue! L'ambiance est magnifique autant de jour que de soir : lumineuse le midi, feutrée & chaleureuse en soirée, avec une musique toujours parfaite pour discuter.
Le service est exceptionnel, les cocktails & la nourriture sont simplement exquis. Gros coup de coeur pour leur espresso Martini, la bavette de boeuf, la soupe à l'oignon & le pain avec le beurre à la truffe. J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner pour essayer leur viande premium & le crab cake!
Excellent Mother's Day brunch, the service was very personalized, the food was exquisite & the restaurant is beautiful. We even got a rose gifted to us by the staff for mommy. Been here on a few occasions & have always been extremely satisfied with the experience
Daniela was amazing at bar at the steakhouse. She referred us to other grey properties for dinner & took the time to make sure we were welcomed personally when we went for that dinner. Lovely person & went the extra mile!
