La Grande Dégustation de Montréal Returns for Its 16th Edition
From November 5th to 7th, 2026, La Grande Dégustation de Montréal invites wine and spirits enthusiasts to the Grand Quay of the Port of Montréal for three days of tastings, discoveries and encounters with producers and industry representatives.
Co-presented by A3, Les agences de vins, bières et spiritueux, and the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ), the 16th edition will showcase thousands of products, along with a selection of expert-led workshops. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore different brands, regions and production methods while learning more about the people and expertise behind the products.
The experience begins on the ground floor, where wine takes centre stage, before continuing upstairs with a selection dedicated to spirits and cocktails. Highlights include the Tequila-Mezcal Buvette and a variety of brand spaces offering immersive experiences.
Seven wine regions and territories will take centre stage in 2026: Burgundy and Chablis, the Rhône Valley, Rioja, Pays d'Oc, Prosecco, Bordeaux and Greece. Themed spaces will give visitors the opportunity to discover the traditions, terroirs and distinctive characteristics of each destination.
The event will also feature an expanded culinary program and immersive spaces. Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious to discover something new, La Grande Dégustation offers the freedom to create your own tasting journey at your own pace.
Tastings will be managed through electronic coupons loaded onto a wristband. Visitors with a SAQ Inspire account can also use the SAQ mobile app to scan bottles, save their favourites and order selected products online. More than 400 private-import products will be available for individual purchase, along with a selection of specialty products offered online specifically for the event.
