This is a true gem. The bagels were fresh & warm. Highly recommend the sesame seed. Bagels didn't age that well, so eat them fresh or seal them in plastic quickly.
I've heard the hype surrounding St-Viateur bagels for years & although it was good, I can unfortunately say that I've had better. I'll start with the good things though, for instance the menu variety. I would recommend the Sesame Bagel without a doubt, easily the most reliable option & in my opinion a must-have. I've tried most of the flavors on the menu & another one that stood out was the Maple Apple. At the end of the day, there is enough variety to please everyone's preference. I would also consider this place as on option for large groups not only due to the menu variety but also for the cost-effective pricing. Taste-wise, for me, it did not live up to the hype. The overall quality was just okay: the taste was good but nothing more; the portion was quite small (big hole) & the texture was mediocre. For info, there was neither room for dine-in nor an outdoor area/terrace. Also, they only accept cash as a payment method. I reiterate that it was GOOD overall, however I expected GREAT considering the hype.
Fantastic place for bagels, an authentic experience I recommend getting a full dozen & freezing some of them (sliced) for use on a later date. Vets when hot & fresh out the oven!
Love love love going to st viateur! I always get at least 10 bagels so i can freeze them & warm them up later. They taste & feel the same even after being frozen. Definitely recommend & as it closes at midnight, you could go anytime when you have a bagel craving!
Good place... Freshly baked bagels & the variety is really good as well.. We tried their couple of bagels namely - sesame, all dressed, butterscotch caramel, cinnamon raising, rosemary sea salt (this was the best) Recommended to have it with cream cheese of course the savory ones...

De très bons bagels mais peut être un peu trop surcôté. Une autre bonne enseigne non loin est tout aussi excellente (Fairmount pour ne pas le citer). Je vous recommande de tester les deux & de vous faire votre propre avis.
This place really needs no introduction but I will leave my review regardless. It’s a historic bagel establishment that makes delicious hand made bagels all day.
As soon as you walk in, you can see its history plastered in the walls & feel how proud everyone is to be working there.
They don’t just sell bagels! They sell anything from t-shirts & hats, to seasonings & spreads.
The only gripe that I have is that it’s cash only. They do have an atm in the shop but they charge $3 service fee so I recommend that you come prepared!
I personally really enjoyed the blueberry & the classic poppy seed bagels.
This is the best bagel I have ever eaten. It is very tasty & fresh with the best ingredients. We chose blueberry & sesame, of course we are happy with our choice. I recommend here, I am sure you will enjoy.
