This is definitely one of the best spot to go if you want to taste a Montreal Style bagel when in Montreal. Their bagels are really fresh & delicious! Highly recommended bagel shop!!

A bakery with no seating, just in & out to buy very affordable bagels of different flavours. They also offer you a special bag for freezing the bagels if you need one. Recommend for a visit (or weekly ones).

** Cash only, so bring it! There's an ATM but fees are higher than a bank ATM. ** Bagels are worth the trip! Try all the flavors - especially the Everything & Pretzel Salt bagels. Note: Montréal style bagels are thinner, denser & more flavorful - best eaten warm from the oven or toasted. At this flagship location, no seating inside, so pop over to a nearby coffee shop (recommend: Cafe Felice).

Take-out only. Always a line, but it moves quick. Worth it. Sesame is recommended- they're popular enough that when I bought mine, they were still warm; fresh out of the oven.
Great stop to try the world-famous Montreal bagel. Went by at 5pm today & they were still making fresh bagels; & even though the sweet ones I bought (maple apple & cinnamon raisin) were not recently made, they still had a super good texture & delicious flavour. Totally recommend giving them a try.
Just as a heads-up, in this location they sell for takeaway & only accept cash (there is an ATM in one corner).
I visited St-Viateur Bagel in Montreal & absolutely loved the authenticity! If you're visiting the city, this is a must-try spot for breakfast. The sesame bagel & everything bagel are both amazing fresh, warm, & perfectly chewy. Grab one & head over to Café Olimpico (or your favorite local café) for a coffee the combo is perfect. Highly recommend this Montreal classic!
I had a wonderful experience at this iconic bagel shop in Montreal. The bagels were incredibly fresh & flavorful - perfectly chewy with that signature wood-fired crispness. Watching them bake right in front of us, with thousands of golden bagels coming out of the oven, was truly a treat. The aroma, the craftsmanship, & the warmth of the place make it a must-visit spot for anyone in Montreal. Highly recommended!

Delicious! Hands down the best bagel I've ever had in my 43 years! The selection in the evening is not that big. However, you are able to get a wider selection earlier on in the day. The pretzel salt bagel is delicious, but so is the rosemary & salt, as well at the sesame seed bagel! Delicious with cream cheese or plain! Highly recommend!
A must do while visiting Montreal. We tried the plain, sesame, onion & cinnamon raisin bagels. Would recommend buying cream cheese onsite to complement the bagels. Limited standing area to eat onsite & parking can be difficult.
Super quick & cheap! Good bagels if you like the doughy/chewy texture. The everything bagel was very flavourful - would recommend that. My friends got the rosemary & sea salt & they liked mine more!
One of the most overhyped places of Montreal... The bagels were fresh but not warm at all to have it with the guacamole 🥑 & the cream cheese 🧀... They tasted decent but the lineup didn't justify the taste... The price was very cheap... I know much better breakfast options I had nearby... Wouldn't recommend this place if they are not serving warm bagels.... It's a cash only place...
