We went there for supper. We the had the pork ramen & the duck ramen & they were both very unimpressive. We ordered the pork bao & they were also ok. Definitely a trendy spot & very picturesque but the food isn't their strong suit. As for the service, it was very slow & the waiters were always busy & hard to get their attention. Our experience wasn't bad but it wasn't good also, it doesn't help that there is no parking available.
Nous y sommes retourné cette fois durant une réunion de famille, pour un brunch, le week-end. Vraiment une grosse déception.
Beaucoup des plats était ordinaires (dont mon sizzling de boeuf) & il y avait un problème évident de mouches à fruit qui a gâché le repas. Les cocktails qui n'ont pas été bu en moins de 5 minutes servaient de piscine pour les mouches à fruits. Le poulet frit était excellent par contre.
Je ne pense pas revenir pour le prix & le temps de deplacement ça n en vaut pas la peine. Généreux 3 étoiles pour cette visite seulement parce que l'ouverture était parfaite.

J'ai adoré la soirée d'ouverture, une ambiance dynamique dans un décor chic c'est un must à adopter.
Des entrées de tempura aux crevettes tigrées & champignons enoki, des yakitori mixtes viandes & légumes sans oublier un mazemen avec du porc fondant nous avons eu des coups de coeurs pour tout ce que nous avons goûté ! On a déjà hâte de revenir aussi pour le curry aux crevettes & l'inoubliable ramen au maigret de canard. Des portions généreuse, des produits de qualité & un service impeccable, c'est déjà notre nouveau restaurant préféré.

I had this spot saved on my Google Maps for months after seeing it online, & it did not disappoint! We made the trip from Ottawa, & Hands down the most flavourful ramen I've ever had (I got the duck one, & it was unreal). The bao lived up to the hype, we tried the pork, & the scallop sushi was next-level good. We also had the carbonara udon, which was delicious but definitely on the heavier side. Service was amazing, the staff were super friendly, & the whole place just had great vibes. Already planning my next visit!
C'était vraiment bon, les cocktails sont écoeurants! Un peu déçue que la promotion du 2 ramen 50% le deuxième est sur le ramen le moins cher, comprennable mais bon. Canard est super bon & portion adéquate, c'est apprécié!

Had the duck breast tsukemen, Japanese beef katsu. Overall seems pretty standard for a ramenya or katsu place, the gyukatsu had trouble staying together with the panko flaking off, but the dipping sauces were at least matching with the food, but nothing spectacular.
The duck breast tsukemen was also not too out of the ordinary, the duck breast was cooked very well, however the rest of the tsukemen was average at best. The noodles were on the overcooked side & the dipping broth was marginally saltier than what you'd expect from a normal ramen broth, making it hardly giving more flavor to the ramen or duck breast.
Overall while there wasn't anything really done wrong with the food, nothing really stood out either, for the price it's a little too pricey for the food, but overall okay.

drinks = my amaretto sour can be better, sour but not sweet enough

-Crudo; plate of raw salmon, avocado, ikura caviar with yuzu dressing
-mazemen, ramen without broth, protein we chose; pork Chashu
-japanese creamy carbonara udon noodles with shrimp tempura
-mangoe salad with grilled chicken (yummmyyy!)
-Oh La La rice paper sushi rolls
salmon with shrimp tempura i believe.. definitely recommend!
will I go back? YES!

C'était une belle découverte, mais sans plus.
Le canard etait excellent. Les ramens sans bouillon étaient peu goûteux & pâteux. L'eau est servie tiède & sans glace.
C'était bien, mais à ce prix la nous irons visiter autre chose la prochaine fois la.
We had the Japanese-Style Grilled Duck Breast Yaki Udon, & it was absolutely delicious, rich, savory, & perfectly balanced. The duck was tender & flavorful, & the whole dish came together beautifully.
The Sakura cocktails were a lovely pairing refreshing, floral, & visually stunning.
The ambiance was cozy yet modern, with a relaxed atmosphere that made the experience feel special. The service was warm, attentive, & made us feel very welcomed.
Highly recommend this spot for a nice night out or a cozy ramen date.
My husband & I celebrated our 39th Anniversary at Shushuto Bar & Ramen Plus Tapas.
Our Server Ben was exceptionally accommodating.The Food is Delicious & generous portion. We ordered the salad mango with grilled chicken,Japanese Steak Katsu for Appetizers ,followed with Sashimi Platter Salmon & avocado,& Japanese pancake Rose-Berries dessert & Affogato Baileys & cappuccino to end our dining experience.
It's the Best Japanese Restaurant we ever trie
& Oh. Ben gifted us a slice of cheesecake

5/5 stars! Shushuto Ramen is an absolute gem! I'm still shocked they don't have a location in Toronto - it's a travesty! The food, however, speaks for itself. The Carbonara cheese udon with Fried sirloin Steak is a game-changer, & the Miso Sesame Udon with duck breast is pure perfection. But the real pièce de résistance is saving the best for last: the Green Matcha Soufflé Pancake. It's the ideal ending to an already incredible meal.
Let me start off by saying our server Ben, was fantastic. He really made the experience by knowing the menu & being attentive.
The drinks here are delicious & worth the price.
The food on the other hand, left room for improvement. I got the miso ramen with chicken & my partner got Oyster Bao & Inari sushi. The chicken in my ramen was cooked & seasoned perfectly, but the rest of the ramen dish could have used more flavour. My partner said her Bao bun was a bit dry & the oyster mushroom was a bit over powering in flavor.
Will we come back, maybe, but if we did it would probably only be for a drink & the wonderful service of Ben.

Food was awesome but the service was very slow. They took like 15min just to bring a bottle of wine. They also mixed all the bills & it took some time to fix them all. I'd definitely come back (the duck ramen is just awesome), but service should be improved.
