Visited the place for lunch. It was a nice experience. We ordered a few items including the Ube iced Lattee, Karaage, Fluffy Omlette Pancake, Porc Katsu Sando, & their Shoyu Duck Ramen.
The Karaage was smaller sized with a bit too much flour coating rather than light & flakey, but the portion itself was a good size. Would not recommend personally.
The fluffy Omlette Pancake was exactly as expected, great to taste but very heavy to eat, felt a bit sluggish afterwards. Delicious nonetheless, though I would share this with another person or 3 people. Great flavors & well done.
The Porc Katsu Sando was one of the favorites. Light, fluffy toast, porc was a bit dry, & heavy of the sauce (too much for our liking). But this dish was nicely crafted & I would order again with less sauce.
The Shoyu Duck Ramen, now this was the'piece de resistance', I can only describe it as having a cool spring breeze pass through while taking in the scenery of budding flowers & just the still beauty of life itself. Having tasted this, I would recommend it to everyone. Easily the best dish served that afternoon. The broth was flavorful, light, & not overbearing, the noodles were excellent & thing, & the duck was perfectly tender, every single bite.
Excellent restaurant même si l'insonorisation de la salle mériterait peut-être quelques améliorations type panneaux anti-bruit.
Par contre il est inadmissible ( voire illégal) que les options pré enregistrées sur le terminal de paiement ne comportent pas l'option 15%, la première proposée étant 18% ( & ce même si sur la facture, encore heureux, celle-ci soit mentionné avec son montant). Il faut donc le rentrer à la main en sélectionnant' autre paiement!!!😡😡😡😡
Brunch délicieux & original ! Tellement, que nous reviendrons pour goûter aux autres plats du menu. Seule petite déception.... le drink Coconut Brew ne goûtait pas du tout le coconut....
Today was my second time at Shushuto & they did not miss (again). The food, the ambiance , the service : Amazing ! I highly recommend the Creamy Udon with chicken Katsu for first timers, it's my favorite. Will definitely come back!✨
Nous sommes allée mangé un ramen pour la.premiere fois. Les drink etait vraiment bon mais mon plat ne goutait rien ! Je l'ai dit au serveur, je n'ai rien mangé & il nous a donné quand meme la facture totale sans offrir rien. Pour travailler dans les restos depuis longtemps je trouve ca vraiment ordinaire ! Je n'y retournerai jamais.

Great food & great service. The staff was friendly & attentive, & the overall experience was excellent. The food was delicious & well worth the visit.
The only downsides were that parking was a bit difficult to find, & it took about 15 minutes to receive the bill at the end of the meal. Other than that, everything was great.
There's just one thing that isn't right about the food & it's the meat. I love me some good meat. The meat here is the only thing that isn't good, they don't even put salt, like come on that's the bare minimum :( & it's so hard & chewy to eat (specially the steak & katsu). Very flavorless, bring salt if you come. If you get thick noodles they might come cold & hard.
Positive is that the broth is absolutely delicious, so I guess it makes up for the other mediocredy. The drinks are also good.
Let me de- influence you. I went to this place following a ton of amazing tik tok reviews & was so disappointed. My ramen really felt like ingredients tossed together with no connecting flavour. A very rushed at home meal. The noodles were really not good- sorta hard spaghetti-style & not the soft ramen noodles. I ate the veggies & some tofu & left this oversized mess of bad/hard noodles. I specifically pointed to a smaller well put together saucy bowl & said that's the size I would like & I was brought a massive bowl that just felt cheap & not a real meal. The place had just opened & almost no one was there. I had asked to seat by the window but because I was alone they sat me at the bar & insisted that every single seat was booked. It was not at all. No one cane to check on my meal until I left. I feel like they have solicited influencers for tik tok but the actual food served daily & the service is lack lustre in real life. I asked for a matcha with cold foam & they couldn't make it because that was a brunch item. If they were slammed or special machinery is required - I get it. It was really slow with a lot of staff & I make cold foam at home it's not difficult. No need for specialized machines that require prep. There are soooo many good places in Montreal to eat - this is one to avoid. I actually went elsewhere after to grab a small bite as I left hungry
Lovely brunch place! We tried their ube menu - ube matcha was good but lacks matcha flavor. Ube cream was really good though! Pain à dore was amazing & ramen was full of flavor!
Excellente cuisine fusion: canard du Lac Brôme & nouilles maison. Carte des vins bien adaptée au menu & excellents cocktails. Personnel attentionné & professionnel. Une perle à découvrir.

Amazing experience at Shushuto Bar à Ramen + Tapas for Mother's Day brunch! Our group of 7 had a wonderful time. The French toast with the omelette was absolutely exquisite, the mocktails were refreshing, & the service was impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommend for a fun & memorable brunch spot! 💐🥂
i had noodles with duck confit & it was good, but not exceptional. service was indifferent. price was high for what is on the plate. noise level on a Thursday night was loud & the music unpleasant but'hip'. the restaurant restaurant occupies the site of Magnan, but has been renovated & is unrecognizeable.
