Overall, the reviews describe Patisserie Bervig as a standout in Montreal for delicious, expertly crafted desserts and pastries made on site. Guests note delicate, well layered treats with a pleasing balance of sweet and tart, from custard buns and Parisian flan to pear tart, pistachio croissant and a wide range of savory pastries and sandwiches. The menu blends French tradition with subtle Japanese influence, featuring items like kumo nuage, matcha framboise tart, hojicha creme brulee and a rich hot chocolate. The service is warm and friendly, and the bright, cozy interior complements a strong reputation as a must visit for breakfast, brunch or a dessert stop in the Old Port. Many visitors consider the pastries among the best in town and say they would return again.
Wow!

I went here for breakfast every morning of my stay in Montreal. The owners are very sweet & the crossaints are very tasty. The desserts & pastries are also delicious. Will definitely visit again on my next trip!
I only tried the rosé dessert & it's sooo good I loved it, 5 different layers/textures/flavors combined nicely . I will come again to try other desserts. Must try!
The best desserts & pastries we've had in Montreal. Delicate, skillfully layered with flavour & textures. Absolutely delicious. The owner was so helpful & friendly.
We would recommend!
Staff was very nice & welcoming. The pastries & food were very delicious. Overall, as an English speaker, the experience was amazing. Totally recommend
Living up to the hype, with delicious canelés leading the charge. Breakfast croissants & items sell out by noon. Sandwiches & tarts are fresh & available for all brunch & lunch desires. Friendly & helpful service. Comfortable tables & bright interior. Worthy pastries crafted with skill.
The most delicious cafe in Montreal!!
The quiche is my favourite. The staffs are very friendly & welcoming. The hot chocolate is very rich & you can never taste anything like it anywhere else in Montreal.
Sitting here in a food coma after eating the bestest pistachio croissant I've ever had. Crispy on the outside & almost custardy on the inside with a perfect balance of saltiness & sweetness.
