I find this bakery a good, nice & really friendly one. The price of pastries is affordable, below 8 dollar. Big shop where there are plenty of space. Friendly staffs that assist you.
Went to see aura light show at Notre Dame Basilica Catheral & came upon this cute cafe. Ordered Chai latte, Kumo & peach pastry. They tasted perfect. The sweet & sour Kumo & lighter sweetness from peach pastry are perfect combination with the Chai latte. Altho we prefer Chai latte that are less sweet.
An incredibly pleasant place. So warm & soulful. The pastries are simply outstanding.
When you visit Montreal, definitely visit this hidden gem! The sandwiches & sweet creations are absolutely outstanding. & the owner is working tirelessly morning to night to serve you the best! We had fresh camenbert croissants with blueberries & cottage cheese. Superb!
One of the only shop in the area that is actually good & not a tourist trap. Want a good cake in the area? Go there!
The quiche & the pastries & cakes were absolutely amazing! Fresh & delicious 👍
We ate some unbelievable food during our Montreal vacation… but this'Notre Dame Rose' Gateaux Cake is easily the most delicious thing we've ever had the pleasure to stuff our faces with.
Friendly staff & very attractive pastries, but they actually weren't amazing - perfectly edible but nothing special. Ours were actually a tad dry - perhaps because we were there later in the day.
We wish we could give 6 stars to this gem of a pâtisserie! 3 of us enjoyed a delicious brunch featuring a smoked meat & cheese baguette sandwich (amazing!), Caprese croissant, & the most perfect crème & fruit croissants (blueberry & raspberry). We enjoyed chatting with the owner & admired his commitment to creating fresh & authentic French cuisine. There were so many other beautiful & tempting options, we are planning to visit again before our trip ends. A must stop if you are visiting the Old Montreal area!
As a Bostonian who did a lot of traveling, I'd say this is the best pastry shop on the continent, dethroning my previous favorites from NYC.
If you are in the province of Quebec, it's worth a stop.
