A new addition to Griffintown's coffee scene, Café BRUTofficially opens its doors today, led by the duo Zoé Duval and Josh Monroe. Envisioned as an "urban café," the space embraces a raw, minimalist aesthetic, concrete, wood, and steel, perfectly in tune with the neighborhood's energy.
On the menu, the café leans into elevated comfort with a selection of signature drinks such as the banana bread latte, salted maple latte, and strawberry matcha, among others. The coffee program features beans from Quebec-based roaster Torqué, known for its meticulous approach and roast profiles that highlight the complexity of each origin.
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Café BRUT is already shaping up to be a go-to destination for slow mornings, long work sessions, or a sweet break in Griffintown.
