As Hotel William Gray celebrates its 10th anniversary, it introduces Freddi, a new bar and dining destination located in the heart of Old Montreal. Designed as a social hub, Freddi brings together food, design, and atmosphere in a refined yet welcoming setting.
Open daily from lunch to dinner, with brunch offered on weekends, Freddi welcomes both locals and travellers. This new addition enhances the hotel's culinary lineup, which already includes Maggie Oakes, Perché, Terrasse William Gray, and Café Olimpico.
Seamlessly connected to the hotel's iconic Living Room, the space offers a bright and inviting atmosphere under a striking glass roof, making it ideal for gathering at any time of day. With around 50 seats, Freddi provides an intimate yet lively setting that encourages connection and shared moments.
The menu draws inspiration from contemporary Japanese cuisine, with a focus on shareable dishes. Highlights include motoyaki oysters, wagyu gyoza, wagyu tartare with bone marrow, miso and maple glazed black cod, and a selection of creative temaki.
A signature cocktail program and a thoughtfully curated wine list complete the experience.
Leading the kitchen is Chef Konstantin Chakhnov, whose international experience includes time in Michelin-starred kitchens. His approach emphasizes balance, precision, and creativity.
With the opening of Freddi, Hotel William Gray continues to evolve while reinforcing its reputation as a must-visit destination in Old Montreal, where hospitality, flavour, and ambiance come together.
