charming tries Parisian bakery, great croissants one of the few places left with the real deal. great atmosphere & love the bread.bwill definitely make this a go to spot. prices where good for breads. sandwiches a little steep. every else within the norm.
Très bon endroit pour acheter une bonne miche de pain, des croissants ou des desserts. Les sandwichs (dont le jambon fromage) sont aussi délicieux. La variété des produits sur place est impressionnante. Le service est toujours excellent & rapide.

I ordered a coffee that was ok & a croissant that was fairly good. However the customer service was quite unwelcoming & I won't be going back. When I entered the store I stood in front of the pastry counter for several minutes while two employees (three feet away) ignored me & discussed how to put pastries in display baskets. Finally a third employee asked if I had ordered. Then, I had to request coffee at the cash register because according to a sign, you aren't allowed to order it at the pastry counter. I was told to wait for my coffee by the exit in a freezing storage room, although the store was almost empty. Then when I recieved my coffee no milk was available, it turns out you have to ask the employee when you ordered, but they never informed me. Left feeling that I had certainly inconvenienced all the staff by being a customer.

Love this bakery for the bread, pastries, ham sandwiches & ready made meals. The service has always been friendly & efficient. Desserts & Pastries: my favourite is the coffee eclair. The tiramisu my second favourite. I really enjoy their danishes & their chocolate-almond croissant. I love their ham sandwich. The quality & flavour of the ham is excellent. It's a simple sandwich but the amazing quality ingredients make it so delicious. Breads: my favourites are the baguette apéro, blue cheese & nut bread (offered on weekends only I believe) & the focaccia. Their other loaves are also great but these ones are unique & delicious. Also a great place to get ready made soup, salads & mains. They have a great variety of options. That & all kinds of locally made products to discover: jams, wine, mocktails...

Je suis cliente depuis longtemps & j'étais toujours satisfaite de la qualité du croissant comparable à celui qu'on mange en France. Depuis peu, le croissant est devenu à l'américaine ! Plus grand, moins goûteux, goûte moins le croissant au beurre ! Dommage ramenez l'ancien croissant.
J'adore ce magasin, les employés sont toujours chaleureux, la nourriture est bonne & l'ambiance générale est vraiment accueillante. J'y vais très souvent me prendre un chai extra sucre & cannelle & à chaque fois c'est délicieux! Les cannelés & les croissants sont aussi mes coups de coeur.

This was highly recommended by a friend who grew up in France as being the closest to the real taste. The place has a real rustic feel to it which works perfectly with their baked good. The smell of fresh baked goods can be smelled down the street which is very inviting. I tried their croissants, chocolatine, baguette, pain de champagne & eclairs. I was very satisfied with the croissants, they were perfectly crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. I was not a fan of the chocolatine because it was very soft inside out, but I am unsure if this is how they're supposed to taste so I can't fault them for this. I will say however that I was not a fan of the eclairs, & again this might be my lack of knowledge of authentic eclairs, but it had chocolate on the inside instead of cream. If that's the authentic version then you can rate this a 5 instead of 4. The baguette was very good. The croissant will be my go to next time I come, & at only $2 it is worth it.
