Service was nice, ambiance was very mordern yet cozy! We got there at 1pm, no line but most tables were occupied. The food came pretty fast (beeper service), we sat at the big table, it had a lot of crumbs, the downside of having customers bring back their plates & trays themselves. Selve serve water station was nice & clean.. & best of all, cold!
The mortadella sandwich was OK, the bread came cold, not room temp but cold. It might have been pre-prepped which ok, but it made the bread stiff & undesirable. It also tasted a bit underbaked. We did not enjoy the combination of ingredients added to the sandwich, minus the arugula which was ok. I think just Bomba would suffice. The Hot Dog Alsace was SUPERB, I loved everything about it, the presentation, the sausage cooked perfectly, the remoulade at the bottom & the bun was amazing! We really enjoyed bitting into it, it was like butter. The fries were also really good. I would definitely come back for the hot dog & try other items on the menu.
We stop by almost every morning when we are in town, & it's easily the best part of our day! The staff are super friendly, welcoming, & always serve the freshest coffee & baked goods. Having this spot here has definitely made all the difference on Chabanel
I came today on this hot July summer day & got the Burrata Salad. It was so delicious & refreshing… absolutely worth the price. I really enjoyed it. & the dessert is also incredible. Paris Breast is a chef's kiss. Will be returning. Thank you for An absolute lunch.
There's a variation of fresh food. But they're lacking something every time I'm there. Once it was cream, then it was filtered coffee, etc. The spot is nice, we'll sunlit & cosy.
I've been a longtime client of this establishment on Fleury Street & came in this morning with high hopes.
I ordered a ham & cheese croissant & a café latte. After waiting several minutes, I asked where I should wait for my order, but no one seemed able to give me an answer. Several customers were served before me, despite having ordered after I did.
I understand that new businesses often have a few issues to work through, but the real problem here was the lack of customer service. The staff appeared disengaged & uninterested.
Most concerning, the employee who eventually prepared my order was using her cellphone moments before handling food. Seeing someone touch their phone & then prepare food is both unprofessional & unhygienic.
I hope these issues are addressed, as there is clearly room for improvement.
