Tasty smoked meat! The smoked meat sandwiches are HUGE. Perfect for sharing. Stacked with meat & Swiss & sauerkraut. Very yummy! The poutine was very good. I added smoked meat & wish I had gone with the original. Gravy has good flavor. Cheese curds were good.
Interior has a dinner/bar vibe. Red vinyl seats, checker pattern. Service was excellent & friendly. Local beers on the menu. Central location.
The homemade cheesecake was tasty & also great for sharing.
Loved the pickle plate. Nice cut to richness of everything else.
What a treat! Stumbled in feeling a little lost & dishevelled after an early train journey to find ourselves among friendly faces & the most succulent smoked meat. Wife had a salad which she loved & the playlist was all hits. Travel fatigue cured. Thanks

We've been hopping around looking for the best smoked meat in Montreal & this place takes the cake. It's better than Reuben's. We also had incredible service tonight from Steven. Friendly, funny, & genuinely made the experience even better. Thank you, Steven!
This restaurant was recommended by our hop on hop off bus tour guide so we were a little weary that it was a touristy place. We were so wrong. It was so good! The service was so fast, very friendly & the ambiance gives Cheers vibes. Everyone was happy with their food: kids chicken tenders, kids pizza, poutine, french onion soup, kids spaghetti, Thai chicken salad & the Dunn's black cherry soda. Hearty portions too. Highly recommend for a nice variety of food options & some delicious Montreal specialties!
First visit to Montreal. Perfect spot for late night food! The burgers were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, & cooked just right. The drink was easily one of the best I've had since visiting different places across Canada so far. On top of that, the customer service was excellent, friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I'd come back to!
Smoked meat sandwich was amazing. Fries were meh - too soggy for my liking, but that's not what I was there for anyway.
The only negative was a guy working there named Tony. I was at the bar & he came up & started making inappropriate comments to a female coworker, who clearly was not appreciating it & asked him to stop multiple times. Made it really uncomfortable.
I humbly asked for a glass of hot water, but it was never brought to me. Meanwhile, my friend received his drink & was even asked whether he wanted another one. I was never asked again if I needed anything to drink. I'm not sure how to interpret this experience, but the service felt disappointing.
Everyone very friendly. The waiter recommended a medium fat smoke meat sammy & the cherry cola. & it did not disappoint. The sammy was big & juicy. But the cola really topped it off. Also the strawberry cheesecake was delicious!

Tasty & delicious sums it up. I almost missed this spot! I originally went for a more famous place, but the long line + rain sent me to Dunn's on a hotel recommendation-& what a win. Just a 5-minute wait while they set up for my wheelchair.
The smoked meat platter was tender & full of flavor, the coleslaw was fantastic, & that warm molten chocolate chip cookie with ice cream? Next level.
I came back the next day for the carbonara-loved it-& again today for fish & chips. Consistently great food, efficient & friendly bilingual service, & always busy but never a long wait.
One week left… & I already know I'll be back a few more times 😏

Been DT Montreal for a few days & ate here 2 times in the 4 days & delicious food amazing atmosphere & the staff are a complete blast

Amazing smoked meat. Don't sleep on the fried rice! Great food & atmosphere with a lot of history
The wait staff were really nice, but we had to wait a while to get our order in & for our check. Maybe they were understaffed? It was a game night & they weren't that busy when we got there but there was a long line when we were leaving
A delicious smoked meat sandwich as always. Service was prompt & friendly. The only negative observation would be that the washroom is in need of a reno/makeover. Highly recommended for lunch.
This game is a recommendation from our hotel staff. We thought it was okay. The server was very friendly & nice. The food was nothing exciting. The hot chicken was good, I upgraded my fries for poutine fries. They were okay. The penne chicken alfredo was a bit tasteless, needed seasoning.
