Always love coming here, the food & service are consistently good. Great smoked meat sandwich that always tastes fresh. Will always be my go-to location for smoked meat when I visit Montreal!

Sat for over 10 minutes without a server approaching our table or speaking to us. Meanwhile tables sat long after us were being brought water/drinks immediately. We decided to try Greenspot instead.

First time in Montreal, & Dunn's Famous was highly recommended to me for its iconic smoked meat sandwich & poutine. The atmosphere was great, & the service was friendly & attentive.

Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. It was my first time trying the smoked meat sandwich & poutine, & while neither was bad, I personally found them a little underwhelming & not as special as I had expected.

I'm glad I gave it a try, but based on my experience, I probably wouldn't go back.

Nice older diner feel. Had the clubhouse & bagel versions. Both excellent options if you are not a big fan of rye. Fries a big on the limp & soggy side - even for Montreal where fries are not crispy in general

The smoked meat sandwich was pretty good but the poutine & spaghetti dishes were absolutely terrible. The poutine was served in a plastic bowl with a sprinkling of unmelted cheese curds & mediocre gravy. The spaghetti we were served were actually spaghettini served in a watery & tasteless tomato sauce. The restaurant itself looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in ages. There was all kinds of debris near the entrance, the mirrors were hazy & dirty & the floor was so greasy & slippery it felt at times I was on a skating rink. Definitely needs improvement.

Personale disponibile e cortese, sempre attenti e veloci. Ho preso piatti tipici come il panino alla carne affumicata e la famosa Poutine. Per i miei gusti piatti molto pesanti ho faticato molto a digerirli.

Quel bonheur de découvrir cet endroit. L'ambiance avec les banquettes rouges est vraiment chaleureuse & typique.

Nous nous sommes régalés avec le sandwich à la viande fumée. La portion était très généreuse & la viande était parfaitement tendre. Le tout servi avec une belle portion de frites croustillantes & un cornichon croquant. Une excellente adresse pour un repas authentique.

I ordered the beef with onions on top & fries on the side. Unfortunately, the fries were poorly cooked, they seemed shriveled like they had been left in the oil for too long. The meat was also quite mediocre with not much flavor.

One thing I really disliked about this place is that they don't accept split payment methods. For example, you cannot pay part of the bill in cash & the rest by card.

The service was also not very impressive. The asian server also wasn't very welcoming or friendly & barely smiled.
