Absolutely amazing experience. The smoked meat was incredibly flavorful, tender, & perfectly seasoned, definitely one of the best I've had. The potato skins were crispy, loaded, & so satisfying, & the egg rolls were fresh, crunchy, & packed with flavor. Everything came out hot & delicious. Great food, generous portions, & a place I would happily come back to again. Highly recommend!
This restaurant was recommended by our hop on hop off bus tour guide so we were a little weary that it was a touristy place. We were so wrong. It was so good! The service was so fast, very friendly & the ambiance gives Cheers vibes. Everyone was happy with their food: kids chicken tenders, kids pizza, poutine, french onion soup, kids spaghetti, Thai chicken salad & the Dunn's black cherry soda. Hearty portions too. Highly recommend for a nice variety of food options & some delicious Montreal specialties!
My husband & I enjoyed a delicious smoked meat sandwich with a poutine, & we highly recommend it! Our daughter enjoyed a Caesar salad with grilled chicken & I was surprised to notice it even had capers, very well done!!!
They serve Pepsi products, but some people like that option.
This place is a gem. Best Montreal smoked meat sandwich ever. Poutin is good too. Highly recommend stopping by. Been in business since 1927 I stop here everytime im in town.
A delicious smoked meat sandwich as always. Service was prompt & friendly. The only negative observation would be that the washroom is in need of a reno/makeover. Highly recommended for lunch.
I ordered the Reuben & a poutine, both were perfectly smoky & delicious! The staff were friendly & respectful, & the service was great. Highly recommend DUNN'S for anyone craving quality smoked meat.
Tried the poutine here & it was absolutely amazing! The fries were crispy, the cheese curds were fresh & squeaky, & the gravy was rich & full of flavor. A true Canadian classic done perfectly! Highly recommend if you're craving comfort food.

Outstanding smoked meat sandwich 👌 I personally recommend getting it medium (vs lean) as the meat will just melt in your mouth 🤤 also, I didn't get the combo as an 8 oz sandwich is more than enough for everyday adults 😉 highly recommend to anyone looking for the real deal!

Perfect destination for visitors to the city to try Montreal smoked meat. Perfect diner vibes, comforting food that was very tasty & fresh. Service was friendly & down to earth. The fries are unique & scrumptious. Highly recommend their famous strawberry cheesecake, made fresh in-house. It is GIRTHY. One piece is perfect to share. I will be back!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dunn's in Montreal, & it was a fantastic experience! The smoked meat sandwich was perfectly seasoned & piled high, just as I had hoped. It's a Lovely cosy place, I remembered a restaurant in my country, food & beer was beautiful & George our waiter was super lovely guy, onion rings was super! Pizza is not Italian, but something special. highly recommended!
The mister had poutine (excellent) I had a wonderful salad & matzo ball soup. Also had a special bloody Mary. Everything was great, highly recommend Dunns!
