Located in Old Montreal, Vandale invites you to discover the cuisine of renowned chef Alex Payon as well as the cocktail menu of bar chef Jake Cristofaro. Located on McGill Street, a stone's throw from the Square Victoria metro and the Old Port, the Vandale restaurant opened its doors in September 2021. The kitchen offers classic dishes revisited with talent using local products.

Designed by the renowned Speakeasy team, the interior of Vandale Restaurant housed in a historic building, reflects the hip sensibilities of the Old Port and Griffintown. Arranged on several levels, this restaurant allows you to observe the 'Street Art' of a dozen Montreal artists. The spectacle is all at once in the hall, on the walls and in the open kitchen. The Vandal Team awaits you there.

This is the second time I go to Vandale during Montréal à Table. I like to go during that time because the choices are limited & chefs are showing their best. I like the ambience, the painting on the walls (e.g. Anthony Bourdain). The service is great.

251101 Menu Montreal a table en novembre 2025 exellent, 50 CAD pp pour une cuisine delicieuse pleine de saveurs. Pour 2, Gravlax & aubergine farcie, poitrine de porc & gnocchis, 2 tatakis, & 2 tiramisu pour finir. Portions genereuses, le tout apres un focaccia maison & 2 cocktails Tiki. Le cocktail Spicy naked avec figue pour les amateurs de spicy seulement, vous etes prevenus...! Service impeccable, ambiance deroutante en bien! A recommander absolument pour le bues de novembre. Nous y sommes allé pour MTL à table. C'était notre première fois dans ce restaurant. Le cadre est très sympa, le service vraiment efficace. La nourriture était savoureuse cependant... Les quantités étaient vraiment petites. Quel dommage d'avoir encore faim en sortant d'un menu 5 services (menu de Montréal à table). Nous retenterons peut être l'expérience mais pas dans le cadre de MTL à table.

Went to this restaurant because the event of Montréal à table. We tried the table d'hôte menu. & it was good. Everything was tasty & well presented. The cocktails were very funky. They based on some classic cocktails & they made it into tasty & well presented cocktails with some funky ingredients. They also have a opened kitchen which you could see the staffs working in it. & it was a good experience. They also have another bar inside there basement. I think personally it was way too dark. They only lighted the bar with a few candles (& you could barely see the person who was sitting infront of you). But the cocktails were tasty. Overall why did I only give three stars, the food was good but it wasn't something I would come back for it. & the basement bar need to improve the lighting.

I liked the restaurant very much. The art in the walls makes for a richer experience. The menu on the occasion of Montréal à Table was delicious! The attention was excellent. Will go again, for sure. 👍🏻

Quelle superbe découverte pendant l'évènement Montréal à table. Resto super moderne & branché, musique au top & pas trop forte donc parfait pour avoir des conversations. Service impeccable du début à la fin, & la nourriture était juste divine. La carte de cocktail est également à tomber. Franchement une place à découvrir.
