Not only some of the best Indian food I've ever had, but genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The waitstaff was busy, yet still warm, attentive, & absolutely delightful. The food was next level, & the whole place is dripping with the atmosphere & charm of Old Montréal. An incredible meal from start to finish. Make a reservation!

For a location in upscale Old Montreal, Le 409 is so impressive ( I usually go park extension, lasalle & even north of sources west island for Indian food, so for a place in a touristy trap street this place is AGAIN very impressive. Sauces & spices are of quality. Food/plates/presentstion unreal. Decor is more French bistro look but it's still really nice. Prices are 100 percent reasonable. They can work on the music selection however. YIKES!!!

We had an absolutely fabulous meal. I'm so glad I didn't ask them to spice it up because it was plenty spicy already. Everything was delicious & I really enjoyed the salad 409..so light & delicious. Go, you won't regret it.
