Thank you for maintaining the high standard of your services & atmosphere. The foods are good. The only concern is that the grilled steak are sometimes burned that I have to cut them off.View more
Please do not take the rib steak it's all fat I never leave bad reviews sorry but noView more
I recently visited The Keg after a two-year hiatus. While it used to be consistently good, this time I found the food rather lackluster. The appetizer salad was disappointingly small, & the steaks were just average, earning a 3.5 out of 5. Although The Keg is less expensive than other high-end steakhouses, this visit made it clear whyView more
Grand Prix weekend. Watched cup final, game 1, great. Steaks were both overdone, not great.View more
Special Place to impress a special date, a birthday, or meet a client. Pricey & quality are in balance. Great steaks served very well.View more
I love the Keg but this most recent experience was somewhat disappointing . The steak didn't seem to be seasoned , the orders were mixed-up a bit & the waiter was a bit aggressive when we ordered coffee/tea & dessert. I will still go back & I recommend others to go but if my best experience is also bad , then I would probably be done . Too expensive to leave disappointed.View more
Great steaks cooked to your liking... also recommend trying the scallops wrapped in bacon !View more

The Keg Steakhouse offers a delightful dining experience with its juicy steaks, flavorful sides, & impeccable service. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, perfect for both intimate dinners & special occasions. Highly recommend trying their signature steaks cooked to perfection, paired with a glass of fine wine from their extensive selection.View more
Great value: good steaks, well cooked, nice wine selection! Nice outdoor terrace in the summertime.View more
Their steaks are cooked to perfection, not to mention their awesome drink selection. Personally, I love tequila. The blue margarita is a must try!View more

We were there with friends & reserved the bar side. It's a little loud but the vibe was very nice with the dark wood & lighting. Our waiter named Eyal was super friendly & was really very helpful in suggesting things. This young man is a true professional We had the bacon wrapped scallops & were really good. One had the onion soup. Really good & cheesy. 3 of us had the rib steak classic with mushrooms & double baked potato. This steak was insanely good. Seriously put it up against Gibbys or 40westt any day of the week. One of our friends had the shrimps. Really nice & large & she enjoyed immensely No room for dessert. Over all a really great experienceView more
Marty was a fantastic server. Steaks cooked to perfection with fantastic customer service. Felt very well taken care of.View more
What can I say? It was a big disappointment. We were waiting quite long for our table. When we got our table, we had to wait very long for food. Then, the manager came out to apologize because one of the meals dropped on the floor & they had to redo a new one. By the time we got our food, it was barely the same quality. My onion soup was flat. It was as if there was no salt in the broth. Most of us ordered steaks & one ordered salmon. 2 out of 4 steaks were tasteless. The salmon was merely seared. I have been to this locations many time before & this time was not worth the money.View more
Food was great, steak, chicken & vegetarian. The service was superb.View more
Firstly this review applies to every location around Canada as I've been to most of them at least once. I'm not into supporting chain restaurants but this one is my exception & this is why. As a business consultant who has worked in the foodservice & hospitality sector as a consultant I am always impressed when a company is doing it right & for the right reasons - this being 100% a great customer experience in order to own that customer for life (in marketing it's seen as lifetime customer value). I'm business in general, companies & restaurants alike spend a lot of money on marketing their brand & services & the smart ones think long-term. The keg does this like no other one I have seen in their market & very few in other especially chains & even privately owned operations. As I always educate CEO's & teams, it's not if a company is going to mess-up it's how the company manages the reaction to their errors that makes the the difference & directly effects the long-term value of a customer. Steaks are generally not always easy to be cooked to perfection & often & especially in non-steakhouses you (I) can't expect a steak to be cooked to my satisfaction - & not because I'm a foodie & amateur chef. So here why The Keg deserves man kudos. When an error occurs the entire staff are trained to monitor a customers reaction to their served food. They actually watch to make sure its patrons are enjoying their culinary expertise & not just the atmosphere. On many occasions I have experienced moments where my steak was not cooked to my request which is pink inside & Chicago (crispy) on the outside of my steak which is typically a Rib Steak. I have ordered New York strip but have had issues everywhere including The Keg & it's largely due that this is a less marbled steak & often can be more dry & less juicy. I've also had this with my roast beef (which is awesome when cooked right - though their "au jus" does need more flavourful improvement as it's a little bland). Every time anything should go wrong the server & manager always owns up to their error & will personally make you feel at ease & without worry. They will quickly deal with the remedy & when they return with your new meal, all the trimmings are fresh & hot & the steak (in my example) typically is spot on (unless it's a 24oz roast beef or New York strip which seems to be a challenge), which is why I stick to the Rib Steak. & then the manager will be at your side asking if you could take a bite in the center to be sure that it's to your (my) satisfaction & in the event it's not, which is rare, they will own it again & offer you a replacent without worry of time or meal just to make you happy. & they will expedite it too - how I don't know but they rapidly (within 5 minutes) will return to the table once again with a fresh new plate of food & see if it's to your liking. In addition to this they realize the impact this has on other members of the table & generally address them & find a way to compensate the disruption with some form of comps. & they have a rule, that if they get it wrong the second time you don't pay. Now, PLEASE don't abuse this as in my case I can tell it's wrong for me within a couple of bite max, & I've not eaten the sides so it's clear I'm not looking for a free meal deal. For me it's about eating a great steak an "if" something should go wrong - & rarely ever with a Rib Steak, they have my back & make sure I'm happy. This is why for steak I prefer The Keg hands down & why I've been a patron for decades & you should too. Side note, everything they make is delicious from the big fresh & juicy shrimp cocktail to their meaty & tender ribs, to their fish & chicken dishes - all fantastic & also excellent value for the money. Their sides are delicious & portions are generous & with the money, especially their wedge salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. & don't get me started with their amazing hot fresh baked sour dough bread. Go & eat there asap!View more
Pleasant & comfortable dining. Not loud, I could very easily understand our conversation. The bread was delicious & warm; the butter was well seasoned. The steaks came out at the requested temperature. The sides were warm & fresh. The tuna tartare with avocado was well seasoned, fresh, & quite good. The shrimp cocktail was delicious. Good wine & coffee. The creme brullee was also very good. Great dining experience!!!View more
Plats délicieux mais froids, steak trop cuit, prix trop élevés, musique trop forte. Dommage..View more
Music too loud could not have a conversation at the table, had to ask to lower the music, which they did a while later. I ordered their rib steak 20 oz, amazing.

Went for dinner June 20th 2021 ordered the ribs they came burnt after 30 mins. Sent them back & the manager came to the table & said their ribs were always like that because they are put on the grill. Okay but who ever was watching the grill didn,t take them off. Manager came & said what do I want to do I said can you cook them without burning them. She rudely went away. My Husband was finsihed his steak & i received the ribs. The bill came & not even a discount for the problem. the girl manager came again & sais WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO RUDELY.. She grabbed the bill & took off my glass of wine. Sorry have been to the keg in laval & Toronto never have seen such under management.
Faaaaaantastic steaks! Definitely recommend, been there a number of times. Can get a little loud in the bar area but the resto proper has a really great ambience for small gatherings or romantic dinners. We really enjoyed ourselves & the servie was great. We even got a complimentary glass of champagne because it was our anniversary!
Hot water, cold food & horrible service. Don't waste your time or hard earned money. There are far better & much less expensive steak houses in the West Island that offer friendly service.
My husband & I both ordered the prime rib. I asked for an end cut with vegetables. The meat was 50-60% fat. When I mentioned this to the waitress, with no apology I was told that was what I could expect from an end cut. The vegetables constituted peppers, 2 very small pieces of asparagus & a couple of pieces of zucchini soaked in oil & served cold & undercooked.
My husband ordered onion soup as an appetizer but the main meal was served within two minutes of the appetizer so he had to make a choice which part of his meal he wanted to eat while it was somewhat hot.
The waitress was curt throughout the meal & presented the bill & stood at the table with her debit/credit machine waiting for immediate payment as if it was an great inconvenience for her to make a trip back to the table.
All the staff were chatting with each other throughout the whole experience & paid little attention to the customers. We left without any comment...no goodbye..have a nice evening...or thank you for coming.
This was definitely the worst $100 spent on a meal in a long time.
