Mundo Trattoria was born from a shared dream between two families - and today, it’s carried on by lifelong friends Johnny and Julian, whose fathers originally opened the restaurant together. Rooted in tradition and fueled by passion, they’ve kept the essence of a true Italian trattoria alive right here in Kirkland.

From fresh handmade pastas to tender veal and seasonal seafood, each dish reflects the flavors of Italy and the care that comes with being family-owned. My extended family & I went to the 55th wedding anniversary of my aunt & uncle a few weeks ago. The service was outstanding. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My lobster ravioli & appetizers were delicious.
A few of my family didn't like the salmon (not tasty) & the brisket (half of it was fat).

🎼🎶🎶🎤 There was live singing, & we dance💃🕺, which made the evening feel like a wedding.

Food was very good as always. I had one of my favorites, Ossobucco Di Vitello. The veal was tender & tasty as was the bed of rice below it. Friday night live music (singer & his DJ equipment) was a nice touch, however, a bit too loud to conduct a conversation with my guest. Overall enjoy the food & evening.

I was looking for a special place to celebrate my birthday. I had been to Mundo years ago & remembered the excellent food , so I booked a reservation. The live singer on Friday nights makes your evening special & entertaining. The Italian food is authentic, tasty, well seasoned & generously portioned. The prices reflect the quality of the experience , & I found I received good value for my money. I'm already planning to return.
