Mundo Trattoria was born from a shared dream between two families - and today, it’s carried on by lifelong friends Johnny and Julian, whose fathers originally opened the restaurant together. Second time there & one of my new favorite places. Everything is great, service, atmosphere, food is authentic Italian dishes, no unnecessary fluff. Prices are totally justified, neither low nor high, the right value. Wine list is not the trendy phone book size but very nice selection.

Singer was too loud...we were unable to converse comfortably.
Red wine was too cold.
Garlic bread was not hot.
No followup after service.
The gravy on the beef cheeks was very salty.
The calamari was excellent as was the side of garlic spaghetti.
Unfortunately that will be my first & last time at this restaurant.
There are way better restaurants fir way less money!!!
This was my first visit to Mundo Trattoria & I will definitely be returning! We were warmly greeted & given a private quiet table. as per my wishes for my friend's 74th birthday dinner. I was impressed with the attention to every single detail. Our waiter Luigi was amazing! The pace of service was perfect. Not rushed, but well timed. The service was choreographed & seamless, with wine, water, warm baked bread, space between appetizer & main course. The food was outstanding! I have never had a more delicious salmon tartare! I tried beef cheeks for the first time & they just melted in my mouth! My friend really enjoyed the lobster ravioli. The space between the main course & dessert was perfect. The tiramisu made in house was deliciously fantastic! I cannot believe on how I have missed out eating at this restaurant before now. I highly recommend & will definitely be returning. My favourite # 1 place to dine out on a special night! Thank you to all the servers & amazing chef, who made my evening out so memorable. Dinner for 2 with two glasses of wine, appetizer shared, 2 main course & dessert, tax & tip included, just under 200$. Worth every single penny! Outstanding!
Not Bad, not exceptional. Risotto really didn't have much taste. Oysters were fresh, good & not expensive. Other plates from other person of the group looked just OK, but were really not fancy. Total bill: 175$ for 2 persons with 1 drink each & no wine (Tax & Tip included).
Absolutely delicious ! Braised beef short rib & red wine sauce is mouth watering addictive! Personally would've enjoyed more vegetables on the plate so it could be more filling, but besides that amazing! Our server Matt was professional & a sweetheart! You've got a lifetime customer!
Our waiter Paolo was excellent & provided excellent suggestions for food & wine. Only complaint was a few small bones found in the Cod.

Busy night so not too much attention from the waiter but we had a great time with great food! Generous portions, great selections of wines & ooh the espresso, to die for!
Excellent food & service. We had a wonderful evening. We had a variety of starters & the portions were very generous.
Lamb shank was perfect. Not a large wine list, but ample selections & well priced.

The food was excellent, the service was excellent, my only complaint is with the wine. I understand that restaurants have to mark up their wine however $50 for a $17 bottle of wine is a little over the top.
A group of 10 co-workers were all very pleasantly surprised at the great service, the quality & the quantity of the food. The wine selection that the waiter chose for the group was fantastic. My team couldn't stop talking about the supper the next day. Thanks for a great experience
