When you hear'The Keg,' you expect the steak to be perfect every time, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience at this branch a few months ago. The steak was cooked incorrectly at first, although I do want to say the waiter handled it very professionally & had it replaced right away. The issue was that we were a big group, & the replacement took such a long time that everyone else had already finished eating by the time our steak arrived. It just didn't feel right having to start our meal when the rest of the table was already done.
Also, the quality of the meat itself was not what we expected from The Keg. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for all of us & I personally wouldn't go back again.
Rudy was my server & he was so kind & professional. He & the restaurant accommodated for my many allergies perfectly. The food was incredible & absolutely worth the price. Thank you Rudy!
Ordered the rib steak (20oz) because I had an amazing rib steak here years ago. It was not what I remembered it to be. It was too fatty, & the quality of the meat wasn't good compared to the Striploin (the 5 other people I went with all ordered steaks & they all praised how lean the meat was).
The garlic mashed potatoes & mushrooms were over salted.
Originally offered a table right at the back when the place was empty. Moved to a more busy area & manger was right over. Service ok happy hour sliders came with a very thin gravy & strange deep fried bit is onion. Chips very nice. Then over charged twice.

Les choix de bières date de 1995. Je suis conscient qu'il faut avoir un choix disponible dans tous les Keg du Canada, mais les bieres ont évoluées partout au Canada.
Il est impossible de choisir la cuisson du berger Keg, sérieux. Au Keg, ne pas être en mesure de servir un hamberger saignant, ça ne fait pas sérieux.
La nourriture est vraiment bonne. Le service est impeccable.
Du jour, le restaurant est beaucoup trop sombre... pour ne pas dire noir.
If you take meat seriously, & like to experiment advanced cabernet, Keg is where you have to take a break in the business rush. The filet, the Côte de Boeuf as well as the mashed potatoes are balanced & well served. Ask for one of the oval tables if you're a small group to add to the friendly atmosphere.
We visited The Keg Steakhouse for my birthday, & it turned out to be a great choice for a special occasion.
We shared a mixed platter of meats (often referred to as a'Keg platter'), which included a selection of steak cuts such as prime rib, filet mignon, & sirloin. The meat was delicious - well cooked, tender, & full of flavor.
What stood out even more was the service: the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience feel welcoming & enjoyable.
Overall, a very solid steakhouse experience, combining high-quality meat with excellent service. Highly recommended, especially for a special occasion.
Food & atmosphere, as always, were both great. But what stood out for us this time was the service... Morgan was very efficient & professional but super friendly at the same time. We had a great time with her!
Très bon restaurant. Le service est excellent: il y a deux serveurs qui se partagent les tables pour vérifier que les clients ne manquent de rien.
En ce qui concerne les plats & les choix des accompagnements, la qualité & le goût est à l'hauteur des attentes du client. La carte des vins est en accord avec les plats proposés.
Quant à la décoration, la salle est chic mais en même temps intime. Le choix de mettre de la lumière tamisée invite les clients à se détendre & à profiter de leur soirée dans une belle ambiance.
Si c'est votre anniversaire, vous allez être agréablement surpris à la fin de votre repas.
En définitive, je recommande amplement ce restaurant sans hésiter. Vous ne serez pas déçus & vous aurez un excellent service avec de la très bonne cuisine.
I enjoyed my birthday supper, & the Camille the server provided such an exceptional experience for me. I will definitely come back & recommend to anyone to enjoy the experience here.
