4 month ago 👉🏼 The keg is always a good atmosphere & a place to have a decent steak. Mathiew was amazing, it's good to be back outside & enjoy freedom. The keg never disappoints, especially the one in Laval, all respectful, accommodating. I got the New York steak & lobster 🦞 combo, with the famous potato 🥔 can't go wrong. Bottom right in the pics. Visited The Keg in Laval & was shocked by how poor the food & service were.
• The chicken was overcooked, dry, & barely edible.
• The salad wasn't fresh - wilted, tasteless, & looked like it sat out too long.
• The restaurant was almost empty, yet service was slow & inattentive.
• Overall value & quality felt closer to McDonald's levels, not a steakhouse.
For the prices they charge, this was unacceptable. Definitely not coming back until major improvements are made.

Good quality food but the prices are becoming a bit ridiculous. We've come many times throughout the years & have seen the increase in they're prices, being drinks, food & overall. We've enjoyed our suppers there but will begin going to the alternatives.
It's a great spot outdoor terrace is awesome but I feel like this location is lacking compared to other kegs in terms of service & food quality & consistency!
Excellent steak house! From the service to the quality of the food & the execution... the steaks are always PERFECT! Drinks are also great! One of my favourite restaurants by far! The just always get it right.
Had drinks & dinner with friends this evening. As always from the moment we were greeted by the hostess & taken to our table to the excellent service & recommendations provided by Gabriel, we felt at home. Our meal from was exceptional as usual from start to finish. The steaks were cooked to perfection & the roast beef was a perfect medium rare. Hats off to the whole team for consistently maintaining your service standards as well as the quality of the good you offer. Until next time...

Great service, great food, the staff was nice & funny. The calamari entree was AWESOME. perfectly cooked. even the bread that they brought to the table was hot & fresh. the prime rib was delicious & so was the chicken. well seasoned, juicy, & just full of flavor. Price was great for the quality of food that you got.
I visit this Keg quite frequently whether it's with family or friends. I am focusing on rating the average of my experiences in all fairness, but unfortunately my most recent one was pretty disappointing due to the poor service. The food has been consistently incredible, there's no doubt about that. I highly recommend either the Filet Mignon for the ultimate experience, or for a more cost effective experience the New York Striploin would be an excellent option as well. In large groups, we seem to get quite a variance in terms of the cookage (i.e. undercooked/overcooked with respect to what we ordered), but the quality is always there. As a side, the twice baked potato is by far the best option. The ambiance is quite nice as well in terms of lighting, environment, seating, decoration, etc. Definitely appropriate for most occasions. The service however has been gradually declining for a while. Our latest experience was quite dreadful as we waited at least a half hour over the time we had reserved, & very long between subsequent stages (ordering food & time between meals, etc). The whole night ended up taking nearly 4 hours & it became exhausting. There was also negligible service in terms of feedback or tailoring to any need whatsoever (something as simple as getting water or missing utensils, etc), it was really the bare minimum as if the waiter did not want to be there whatsoever. Honestly if this had been my only experience, I would never go back. However I hope this was a one-time thing & will be remedied in future visits. Certainly not what you would expect from a restaurant of this much prestige. Overall, the food was worth it, but consistency across the board is very important in order to earn a 5 star review, & the service is just not up to par with usual Keg standards.
Steak was great, drinks were meh & expensive for the quality, service was a little slow, even as they were busy on a Thursday night. Would go back again.

Overpriced for quality but exceptional service & ambiance . Great place for appetizers . I would recommend a real steak house if you want to spend 200$. This was too commercial.
Steak could be better quality, mashed potato no flavour... service is excellent but communication between the reservation desk & waiter should be better, we reserved for a birthday & the waiter had no idea... he asked us if we are celebrating an event tonight, we had to tell him.... in my opinion the hostest should tell him in advance..... the waiter Nic was great...
