C'était la première fois que j'allais dans un restaurant Keg Steakhouse & j'ai trouvé l'expérience correct. L'établissement était propre, il y avait une belle ambiance & le service était très bon. La nourriture était correcte mais pas assez mémorable pour justifier les prix. Ce fut une première expérience agréable pour satisfaire la curiosité mais malgré cela, je doute d'y retourner.
For my first time at the Keg i was expecting an unforgettable experience but it wasn't the case!
I was there with my husband for his birthday & booked in advance at 8h30 but was not seated until 8h55 after waiting with more than 30 people at the entrance, & asking why the delay.
The music was nice & the waiter Nick was amazing but i was very disappointed with the food, starting with the presentation that was way far from what i was expecting at a steakhouse like this one, yes the meat was good but asking for sauce for it ( which i heard many customers next to us do too) they charge you 3$ when u r paying way more than the plate deserves, on the other hand the vegetables & the fries were on top of each other, the mushrooms sooo tiny that u almost can't hold the with the fork.
It was a very disappointing experience & I'm surely not going back!!

Visited The Keg in Laval & was shocked by how poor the food & service were.
• The chicken was overcooked, dry, & barely edible.
• The salad wasn't fresh - wilted, tasteless, & looked like it sat out too long.
• The restaurant was almost empty, yet service was slow & inattentive.
• Overall value & quality felt closer to McDonald's levels, not a steakhouse.
For the prices they charge, this was unacceptable. Definitely not coming back until major improvements are made.
Depuis que je suis toute petite, je me souviens que mes parents allaient très rarement au restaurant. Pas parce qu'ils n'en avaient pas les moyens, mais simplement parce qu'ils étaient souvent déçus, ils préféraient toujours un bon repas maison.
& pourtant… ce soir-là, tout a changé. À 32 ans, c'est la première fois que j'ai vu mon père savourer un steak avec autant de plaisir. Il a tout mangé, jusqu'au dernier morceau, le sourire aux lèvres, en répétant sans arrêt : « C'est ÉCOEURANT! » 😄
Un moment tout simple, mais que je garderai précieusement dans mon coeur : la première fois que mon père a vraiment profité d'un repas au restaurant.

I usually enjoy The Keg, but this location in Laval was disappointing. The kitchen consistently fails to cook the steak to the requested doneness - it seems they have real trouble understanding what'rare' or'medium rare' actually means. Even the server wasn't sure how the steak would come out, which says a lot.
The rest of the experience was fine but when you go to a steakhouse, getting the meat right should be the most basic thing. Unfortunately, they just can't seem to get it right.
This is my third time visiting here. Each time I ordered a steak. Each time I have ordered medium rare & specifically asked the server about how they cooked medium rare. Each time the steak has come out overcooked. The service is fantastic however for a steakhouse they should be able to do a better job of getting a properly prepared steak.
I have never had a steak or piece of meat that i would grade less than an 8. Loved the service & atmosphere of modern day steakhouse. I buttered up that hot bread & ate more than i should have. Ordered their prime rib with a side of vegetables. A glorious way to down a couple of thousand calories.

Favorote steakhouse to visit when in Canada. My wife & I have been to quite a few Toronto locations, & it's always been great! At first glance, the restaurant looks nice. Once at our table, we noticed the lighting was very low. To the point we could barely read the menus. b
But I guess they do it for the ambiance. The table was so small we it barely held the menus. But, we tried to enjoy the night anyway. Initially, we no one was sitting beside us, so it was ok. But, they ended up sitting another couple beside us, & that was where the issues came in. We were so close to each other that I could hear the guy breathing! You would think we came in together. Made me very uncomfortable. The service was ok, but the waitress didn't explain menu options well. So, we ended up double ordering. & what we thought was included in one meal wasn't. But, it was the table size & location that was horrible. The food was good, though.
For a steak house, the presentation & cooking of the prime rib was about as bad as I have seen. I asked for medium rare & it came out looking like it had been microwaved. There was no attention on the presentation of the steak. There was a huge, flaccid, white piece of fat that has nothing to do with adding flavour. Even when I asked for it to be re cooked, it was badly presented on the plate. The cheesecake was too dry. Very average food, dreadful presentation of the signature dish....it will be my last time in a Keg Steakhouse.

Mon meilleur steakhouse sur la rive nord mais vous devriez avoir de la cote de boeuf de jus saignante à toute les soirs mais surlonge coupe baseball très bon aussi
Terrace seating was great, the service was very attentive, thanks Félix (2)👍 The downside was the steak, contrefilet cut was 1/2 inch not what I expected for Keg. In my opinion steak at a steakhouse should be min 1in cuts.

HIER SOIR AVEC DES AMIS NOUS AVONS DINER AU BAR TOUT PRES DE LA CUSINE. EN ENTRANT NOUS AVONS REMAQUER VOTRE Annonce DE GUIDILLE AU HOMARD. Avec un bonne bière Sur quatre trois on choisi la guédille. Quelle déceptions Pain Hot Dog couper aux extrémités Pas de salade au fond du pain , Pain Détremper & pire encore IL Y AVAIT PLUS DE GORBERGE QUE DE HOMARD. QUELLE DECEPTION. BIEN QUE LA SERVEUSE NOUS A CREDITER UNE GUEDILLE & OFFER UN DESSERT IL EST INAXCEPTABLE DE D'AFFICHER UNE GUEDILLE HOMARD QUI EN REALITE A 28.00 N'EN ETAIT PAS UNE . I don't think there are enough stars to give this steakhouse the rating it deserves. The total package is simply amazing. As an international steak critique, I cannvouch that the folks know how to cook their meats! Value for money portions & the Billy Miner dessert was delightful. Our hostess Silvie is an absolute sweetheart & the top of my charts in this continent. Book ahead as it does get busy.
Agréablement surpris, le Keg Steakhouse un service de qualité de l'entrée à la sortie. Belle prestation, des saveurs exquises, des portions généreuses & pour finir une facture vraiment raisonnable. Je le recommande vivement.
Une valeur sur lorsque qu'on veut un bon steak & une soirée en amoureux. Le service est selon ta chance. Tu peux savoir un serveur d'expérience qui comprend le niveau de service attendu dans un steakhouse repas servi chaud, vin qu'on laisse aéré sans vidé toute la bouteille dans ton 1e verre... Donc malheureusement, le service est à vous risque & péril mais généralement on est bien servi. Si vous détectez que votre serveur manque d'expérience commandé les entrée & seulement après votre plat principal aussi non, vous mangerez un steak froid... Hi hi bon appétit!
The food was great as usual, I would definitely recommend trying it if you have never been. The prices are what you expect for a steakhouse. After years of going to The keg, the atmosphere has changed. The lighting is brightened & the music is loud, it gives a dive bar atmosphere, where the music is played loudly to the point you cannot hear the person across from you speak.
