J'adore le concept de musiciens jazz pendant la soirée, cela apporte une belle ambiance! Le restaurant étant tres occupés avec plusieurs groupes, le service était plus lent que normalement, mais vu l'ambiance & la qualité des plats, nous sommes plus que satisfaits!

Très bonne nourriture bien faite. Portion raisonnable pas trop grande juste ce qu'il faut.
Belle musique d'ambiance
Nathaniel was a very sympathetic host. He was very welcoming & friendly. The peach salad, beignet & beef was excellent. The jambalaya was good but too heavy on the salt. Nice jazz ambiance & lovely decor! I recommend!
I've been to this restaurant many times before. I always found the portions & the food amazing, but last time I went this week of May 3, it seems that there's a new chef. Portions are smaller, there's no more of that amazing bread that used to be served while you were waiting for your food, & many dishes were removed from the menu or changed to appetizers.

Je suis allé avec mon conjoint deux fois & c'était vraiment parfait! Le service est rapide & courtois & la nourriture est délicieuse. Le restaurant est magnifique & l'ambiance est très bonne. Nous serons de retour!
Pour commencer, on avait une réservation à 18h30, mais notre table n'était pas prête avant 19h. On était un peu déçus de l'attente. Par contre, on a reçu des shooters gratuits pour compenser, ce qu'on a apprécié!
En entrée, j'ai pris les calmars frits avec crevettes : très bons, bien exécutés, avec un petit côté plus épicé qu'un classique. La mayo épicée était délicieuse 👌
Mon accompagnateur a pris des tacos au poulet jerk… qu'il a repris une deuxième fois tellement c'était bon! Très frais & super bien balancé côté saveurs.
En plat principal, j'ai choisi l'assiette de gumbo terre & mer: vraiment savoureux, bien assaisonné, bien saucé. Le riz était parfait & les crevettes cuites à la perfection. Pas trop épicé, juste comme il faut.
Mon accompagnateur a pris le poulet frit sur gaufre avec salade de chou : très bon! Le poulet était croustillant sans être gras, la gaufre légère & bien faite. Seul petit bémol : il aurait aimé un peu plus de sauce à son goût à lui!
Côté cocktails :
Les Bloody Caesar étaient bien relevés, & la margarita fruit du dragon & coconut était délicieuse! 🍹
Le service était aussi très bien 👍
👉 En résumé : malgré l'attente au début, très belle expérience globale. On y retournerait!
Bouffe tres goûteux en entrée & en plats principaux,bon drink.ça pris une quinzaine de minute avant d'avoir nôtre premier drink mais après le service a été très bon.on va y retourner c'est sur👌🏻

Had a wonderful evening with my beautiful wife… tried different items on the menu & really enjoyed the taste & presentation.
The service was attentive, friendly & the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience… impeccable!
The atmosphere is lively… good loud music but you could have a conversation comfortably
Great experience at this place a few weeks ago. There are not many options (especially in Laval) for southern food, so they definitely fill that void.
The vibe is spot on.
We came as a large group & everyone enjoyed their food. No complaints there. A few dishes that were ordered: Jambalaya, fried chicken & waffles, Gumbo. Great quality.
The drinks were also spot on & cheap on a Thursday night.
My only complaint would be the portions - waffles are literally the cheapest thing you can make, & for the price, the fried chicken & waffle dish left me quite hungry. 2 tiny little waffles under a few fried chicken thighs? Albeit delicious, it was a little outrageous for the price tag.
I like the jambalaya & the desserts were great. The food here actually tastes good. It's the small portions that bother me (& it's not exactly cheap either).
The jambalaya balls were just ok, so was the fried calamari & shrimp & the mango fresca drink was not as fruity & tasty as I expected it to be. The'Bahama Mama' cocktail, however, was fantastic; it's rhum based & has ginger beer in it. I've been in love with that combo for years.
All in all, I give Louisinana a 7 out of 10. The desserts & my Bahama Mama are what's doing the heavy lifting for this grade.
The atmosphere is lovely, but the food was kind of disappointing. When you think cajun food, you expect a burst of flavours which was missing in some of the dishes. You need to try the spagghetti from the tasting menu which was the best part of the whole meal. The drinks were amazing too!

Nice-looking restaurant, but the experience was disappointing overall.
The main issues were noise & service management. The live music was far too loud for such a small space, it felt more like a concert than a dining experience. Service was disorganized, with multiple servers, long waits (about 30 minutes), & no proper welcome or menu introduction.
Overall, poor experience. I wouldn't return.
Great atmosphere & ambiance. The decor is amazing. It's a very cozy, southern comfort vibe. They even had a live performance that played really well. The food was good, an overall 7/10. The drinks were however not that great. I ordered a passion fruit margarita which had way too much salt in it. My partner had a gin & tonic fizz that was super flat & had no fizz. I'd say overall the quality of the service was good but it was extremely slow. I had a reservation & waiting for 20 min just to be seated. Then it took around 40 min just to have our drink order. The food took about 30 min to arrive. We ordered a second round of drinks & that also took half an hour. I wanted to order dessert but was very discouraged by how slow things were so I didn't even bother. Fortunately, as slow as the service was the staff was still very pleasant & tried their best to be accommodating.
Let's start with the positives. the food was pretty good, i got myself the jerk chicken, no complaints there.
having musicians play live while you eat is also a very nice touch.
but the service was absolutely abysmal. our waiter barely checked up on us, the waiting times were horrid. we got there at 7:30PM, & got served at 9:30PM, way below the state of normality in a restaurant.
it's a shame really, i want to like this restaurant but the quality of the service plus the horrible waiting time doesn't do it for me.
Nathaniel est un serveur hors du commun 🤩 Il nous a bien conseillées dans le choix des cocktails & des plats. Le menu à $68 est un bon choix pour ceux qui veulent découvrir plusieurs plats!
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de Band ce soir là! Le choix de musique d'ambiance était tout de même très bien! 😍
