Had a wonderful evening with my beautiful wife… tried different items on the menu & really enjoyed the taste & presentation.

Great experience at this place a few weeks ago. There are not many options (especially in Laval) for southern food, so they definitely fill that void.
The vibe is spot on.
We came as a large group & everyone enjoyed their food. No complaints there. A few dishes that were ordered: Jambalaya, fried chicken & waffles, Gumbo. Great quality.
The drinks were also spot on & cheap on a Thursday night.
My only complaint would be the portions - waffles are literally the cheapest thing you can make, & for the price, the fried chicken & waffle dish left me quite hungry. 2 tiny little waffles under a few fried chicken thighs? Albeit delicious, it was a little outrageous for the price tag.

I like the jambalaya & the desserts were great. The food here actually tastes good. It's the small portions that bother me (& it's not exactly cheap either).
The jambalaya balls were just ok, so was the fried calamari & shrimp & the mango fresca drink was not as fruity & tasty as I expected it to be. The'Bahama Mama' cocktail, however, was fantastic; it's rhum based & has ginger beer in it. I've been in love with that combo for years.
All in all, I give Louisinana a 7 out of 10. The desserts & my Bahama Mama are what's doing the heavy lifting for this grade.
The atmosphere is lovely, but the food was kind of disappointing. When you think cajun food, you expect a burst of flavours which was missing in some of the dishes. You need to try the spagghetti from the tasting menu which was the best part of the whole meal. The drinks were amazing too!
Nice-looking restaurant, but the experience was disappointing overall.
The main issues were noise & service management. The live music was far too loud for such a small space, it felt more like a concert than a dining experience. Service was disorganized, with multiple servers, long waits (about 30 minutes), & no proper welcome or menu introduction.
Overall, poor experience. I wouldn't return.
Great atmosphere & ambiance. The decor is amazing. It's a very cozy, southern comfort vibe. They even had a live performance that played really well. The food was good, an overall 7/10. The drinks were however not that great. I ordered a passion fruit margarita which had way too much salt in it. My partner had a gin & tonic fizz that was super flat & had no fizz. I'd say overall the quality of the service was good but it was extremely slow. I had a reservation & waiting for 20 min just to be seated. Then it took around 40 min just to have our drink order. The food took about 30 min to arrive. We ordered a second round of drinks & that also took half an hour. I wanted to order dessert but was very discouraged by how slow things were so I didn't even bother. Fortunately, as slow as the service was the staff was still very pleasant & tried their best to be accommodating.
Let's start with the positives. the food was pretty good, i got myself the jerk chicken, no complaints there.
having musicians play live while you eat is also a very nice touch.
but the service was absolutely abysmal. our waiter barely checked up on us, the waiting times were horrid. we got there at 7:30PM, & got served at 9:30PM, way below the state of normality in a restaurant.
it's a shame really, i want to like this restaurant but the quality of the service plus the horrible waiting time doesn't do it for me.

Nathaniel est un serveur hors du commun 🤩 Il nous a bien conseillées dans le choix des cocktails & des plats. Le menu à $68 est un bon choix pour ceux qui veulent découvrir plusieurs plats!
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de Band ce soir là! Le choix de musique d'ambiance était tout de même très bien! 😍
It was ok our server change during the service we had a man at the beginning super nice funny I liked him & after that a girl not really interacting with us. The food was ok but not the best. I have the waffle & chichen. My 2 drinks were good mama Bama & rhum runner. Overall I give the restaurant a 6.5 out of 10 not bad but not the best.
Si vous n'aimez pas le poissons paa grand choix & payer 40$ pour un hamburger, frites & une liqueur a $5.00 c'est cher!!
Nous étions 3 on avait réservé & apres 2h on nous a demandé gentiment de céder notre place...

Fresh, flavorful dishes & a really nice vibe. Thanks to our waitress Daphne for the warm, attentive service she made the whole visit stand out. Definitely coming back.

Nous avons mis 3/5 pour l'ambiance simplement parce que nois étions un mercredi soir 18h & qu'il n'y avait presque personne dans le restaurant mais vers 20h, ça commençait à rentrer & j'imagine que le chansonnier de blues & jazz aurait rajouter une étoile de plus.
Nous croyons aussi que les portions de certains repas auraient pu être un peu plus généreuse. De plus, surveillez vos factures car nos avons pris des drinks dans la période du happy hour qui nous ont été chargé pleins prix... Bien entendu, j'ai vu l'erreur arrivé à la maison. Sinon, overall, c'était une belle expérience & j'y retournerais sans hésite
