Ma seule déception a été le plat principale le poulet jerk. Il n'y avait pas d'assaisonnement dans la viande. On m'a donné deux morceaux de banane plantains très sèche & peu appétissante. On dirait qu'il avait traîner dans un bol & réchauffé par la suite pour les servir. Le riz la même chose (peu savoureux) la quantité de nourriture servi était minime pour le prix affiché. J'en est parler ouvertement à la serveuse qui a reçu la critique très bien, ce que j'ai apprécié. Par contre mon cocktail était savoureux (whisky sour).
Me concernant je n'y retournerai pas, mais je le recommande pour ceux qui veulent découvrir un nouveau restaurant & en faire l'expérience.
Pour finir la musique est trop forte, on ne s'entend pas parler malheureusement.
Très beau décor & bon service. Cependant, il faisait très froid dans le restaurant lors de notre visite. Le thermostat était réglé à 10 °C, & j'en ai informé le serveur. Les cocktails étaient bons. J'ai pris le poulet jerk : c'était correct, mais un peu trop cuit & l'entrée de jambalaya manquait de saveurs à notre goût.

We were invited back by the owner for a second visit to this restaurant tonight. I can tell you they did not disappoint. The staff was on point, our server Jeremy was polite, quick & super professional I would give 6 star if I could.
I ordered the shrimp cocktail which came with 4 good sized shrimp & a nice home seafood sauce & the seafood pasta dish, full of fresh perfectly cooked clams, mussels & shrimps & the perfect balance of flavour & spice.
Rhum & coke severe in style with a glass of rhum on the rocks & a shooter of cola along side.
Finally the vibe was really well blended into the night, decor music & overall ambiance of a loud busking restaurant.
P.s the beignets are a must try aswell as the biscuits.
I will definitely be returning to this restaurant with a clients, family & friends
Amazing night at Louisiana! Huge shoutout to Noemy for the incredible service - ask for her section!! Cocktails were delicious & adorable, the place is beautiful, & the food did not disappoint (jambalaya & rigatoni 😍). We were even offered dessert, which totally made our night. 10/10 recommend!
Just had an amazing experience at louisiNANA restaurant. The cocktails were fantastic-cleverly crafted, perfectly balanced, & each one felt like a mini vacation in a glass. I tried the gumbo & the crab dip, & both were super good. Rich, flavorful, & clearly made with care. The gumbo had a nice depth of spice & the crab dip was creamy with just the right amount of lump crab. Friendly service & a great vibe. I'll definitely be back for more of those cocktail options & those Louisiana-style dishes!

& un peu déçu car spectacle de jazz annulé a la dernière minute

Very nice atmosphere. Cocktails were great & our barman was very knowledgeable & helpful with his recommendations.
We ordered (too many) appetizers- the deviled eggs & Creole Butterfly shrimp were excellent. Jambalaya & chicken & waffey were also quite good - juicy & flavourful.
Service was very disappointing though - I reserved a table well in advance & without notice they downgraded my party to the bar & refused to accommodate, maintaining a very indifferent attitude. They said it was a'last minute' change but didn't bother to call or let me know in advance. There were available tables the whole time we were seated.

We felt like we stepped off the streets of New Orleans: the décor is on point with festive beads, warm lighting, & even an area ready for a live band to bring that Bourbon Street buzz to life.
We started things off right with a complimentary biscuit & honey butter that was pure heaven - soft, warm, & dangerously addictive. Pair that with a couple of cocktails from their massive drink list, & you're off to a great start. (Seriously, whoever's behind that bar knows what they're doing.)
For entrées, we tried the shrimp & grits & the Cajun shrimp tacos - both were flavorful, satisfying, & beautifully presented.
Our mains - the Jambalaya & the Gumbo - had great taste & were packed with that Southern spice, which we love, but came with a little too much rice, which filled us up way too fast. Considering the prices, that did leave us wishing for a slightly more balanced portion.
Now, about that live band: we love that they're keeping the vibe lively, but being seated literally a foot away from them made it hard to enjoy our meal (or conversation). Plus, the music wasn't exactly jazz or anything particularly Louisiana-themed - which felt like a missed opportunity. Maybe save those tables for the dance floor & lean into that NOLA playlist a bit more!
All in all, we really like the concept of @restaurant_louisinana - the vibe, the décor, the cocktails, & the energy are all there. & since the front of their menu proudly says'Constantly reworked', we have faith they'll fine-tune the experience to match the promise of the theme.
This place has all the right ingredients to become Laval's own little slice of the Bayou - just needs a bit of that finishing spice! 🌶?💜💛💚
The concept is original but work is required to make this a must stop.
Starters were below average, main dish was barely meeting expectations & service was very long - i had ordered cocktails & our glasses (cocktails & water) were empty for a long time.
We sat at 9, ordered the food around 9:30 & reveived our food at 10:45! Our waitress was polite & did her best but overall service was not meeting expectations, very long & simply below average.
Jazz band was a nice touch but we could barely hear ourselves talk (maybe tone down the volume a bit). But it was nice!
I wanted to spend money but they failed to capitalize on that.
Final verdict: Not meeting expectation, food was not spiced adequately (portions were generous).
My overall rating reflects a 4 out of 10 experience & i would not recommend for now.
Pour vrai, une très belle découverte. Au début, j'avais peur que ce soit un restaurant thématique qui mettait l'accent sur le décor & qui délaissait la nourriture, mais loin de là. Tout était super bon, les cocktails, les entrées ainsi que les plats principaux étaient exquis. Franchement, c'est une très belle découverte. Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas mangé aussi bien.
Les seuls petits bémols sont que la musique était assez forte (malgré qu'elle n'était pas déplaisante) & que la nourriture était relativement assez épicée (du moins pour mon palais).
Somme toute, j'y retournerais volontiers. Mes coups de coeur sont la trempette chaude de crabe ainsi que le poulet frit sur gaufre de maïs.
I had such a wonderful time at this restaurant. The vibe is warm & welcoming, & the ambiance is amazing, especially with the live music. We came as a big group to celebrate an anniversary, & the musician even came over to play the birthday song on his saxophone. He was fantastic & made the night extra special.
The food was absolutely delicious, & the portions were very generous. I couldn't even finish my meal & had to take the rest home. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail. It was perfectly cooked & tasted amazing.
Our waiter, Jeremy, was efficient, attentive, & provided excellent service throughout the night.
Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, & I'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
