Kind of a new place at Centropolis!, love the food style & spiced levels of all the dishes we had. Cocktails were very well balanced & refreshing. Food was server perfectly timed among the courses which allowed the conversation to flow before the next dish. We might have arrived too early to the place & we're a little bit left forgotten but as it got more people the flow of drinks, water, etc., was good. I will not recommend this place if you don't have have some tolerance to'hot spicy' food, specially kids, I'm sure they might be able to do less spiced food at request but then you better go somewhere else!, here you should come to enjoy a nice 🔥 on your dishes. Come taste it!.. you will agree with me!.
Pour commencer, on avait une réservation à 18h30, mais notre table n'était pas prête avant 19h. On était un peu déçus de l'attente. Par contre, on a reçu des shooters gratuits pour compenser, ce qu'on a apprécié!
En entrée, j'ai pris les calmars frits avec crevettes : très bons, bien exécutés, avec un petit côté plus épicé qu'un classique. La mayo épicée était délicieuse 👌
Mon accompagnateur a pris des tacos au poulet jerk… qu'il a repris une deuxième fois tellement c'était bon! Très frais & super bien balancé côté saveurs.
En plat principal, j'ai choisi l'assiette de gumbo terre & mer: vraiment savoureux, bien assaisonné, bien saucé. Le riz était parfait & les crevettes cuites à la perfection. Pas trop épicé, juste comme il faut.
Mon accompagnateur a pris le poulet frit sur gaufre avec salade de chou : très bon! Le poulet était croustillant sans être gras, la gaufre légère & bien faite. Seul petit bémol : il aurait aimé un peu plus de sauce à son goût à lui!
Côté cocktails :
Les Bloody Caesar étaient bien relevés, & la margarita fruit du dragon & coconut était délicieuse! 🍹
Le service était aussi très bien 👍

Exceptional Restaurant. Right when you walk in you are immersed in New Orleans. I was very impressed by the level of service from the staff, very friendly, courteous, & helpful. We started with cocktails at the bar then moved to our reserved table. I was craving Cajun Style food & wasnt disappointed, as I had the Gumbo with shrimp & a suprise fusion of Cajun pulled pork in a roll, delicious! My date had the Cod. We stayed just long enough to enjoy the live brass band just like in the french quarter. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great night out.
Parfait ! Nous avons pu profiter du spectacle un peu (commencé à 20h) & c'était vraiment super. L'ambiance y était même à 18h. Les plats étaient insane. Je ne connaissais pas ce type de cuisine & je suis vraiment tombé sur le charme. Les cocktails étaient wow aussi! Sincèrement, nous allons y retourner ! Merci pour l'expérience ! Notre serveur était aussi vraiment cool !

J'y suis allée deux fois; la première en amoureux, au bar, menu découverte, suggestion de cocktail & de vin tout à fait appropriée. La deuxième avec une amie, en salle a manger. Tout était délicieux de l'entrée au dessert, avec cette petite touche cajun & une ambiance très festive. Décor éclectique & personnel sympathique. Autour de 21h, la musique est de la partie pour ajouter un petit côté nightlife. Très classe, clientèle diversifiée qui ajoute au charme de l'endroit. Je recommande aux amoureux de voyage de le découvrir. Deux très belles expériences!
C'est vraiment dommage car l'ambiance est génial, le décor aussi super beau …. Par contre nous somme arrive a exactement 21h précise & maintenant il est 22h20pm & nous venions tout juste de recevoir nos cocktails… il n'y a pas non plus beaucoup de gens a comparer a d'autre jour donc tres decevant si vous etes un groupe fuyez
I made a reservation for 10 people weeks in advance for a birthday celebration. The night of the reservation, some of my guests arrived about 10 minutes before our 9:00 p.m. reservation time & were told the table would be ready in 10-15 minutes.
Thirty minutes later, I went back to ask when we would be seated. The hostess kept apologizing but couldn't give us any timeframe. Instead, she suggested seating 6 people while the remaining 4 continued to wait. For a reservation of 10 people made weeks in advance, that was disappointing.
Almost 50 minutes in, after standing outside in the cold, the hostess came to get us. We assumed our table was finally ready, but instead we were offered two separate tables on opposite sides of the bar along with a complimentary cocktail. Since it was cold outside, we accepted & waited. Once seated, we still waited another 15-20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, & there was still no sign of our actual table.
The waitress asked if we wanted to order food, but we declined because we wanted to wait until our entire group could be seated together. Shortly after receiving our drinks, we were finally told our table was ready. About 1 hour & 15 minutes after our reservation time, we were finally seated together.
As for the food, my boyfriend & I ordered the Discovery Menu. The gumbo was cold & bitter, the beef skewers were cold, the crab cake was good, the oysters were okay, & the peach salad was bland. My boyfriend ordered the steak medium, but it arrived medium-well. I ordered the lobster spaghetti, which was actually the only hot dish that arrived at our table, & it wasn't bad.
The staff did offer complimentary cocktails & shots, which was appreciated, but by that point we were exhausted, frustrated, & honestly just ready to leave.
As someone from a Creole background, I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant & really wanted to enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, both my guests & I left extremely disappointed. We were celebrating my boyfriend's & his brother's birthdays, & what should have been a special evening turned into a frustrating experience.
The decor was beautiful, & that's probably the highlight of the evening. Sadly, the service, organization, & food quality did not live up to expectations.
