The food was bland, we didn't find these typical flavours we were looking for. The bao buns were dry, the ramen not as tasty as we'd hoped during ramen fest. Service was slow - we waited 45 min for our bill as our waiter was talking. The drinks were delicious, the prices were fair, the deco is beautiful but honestly... Afterlife techno songs during dinner time Not going again & won't recommend.

Les drinks étaient excellents, nous avons pris des tapas, certains comme les bao étaient meilleurs que le reste. La musique était bien. Le vrai problème était l'éclairage. On a un décor & une musique pour une ambiance bar, mais le restaurant était tellement éclairé qu'il n'y avait pas d'ambiance du tout. À moins que ce point change, nous n'y retournerons pas.
Great food & cocktails, but:
- Seating: we were offered a table next to a loud group when the place was mostly empty, we asked to move, waitress reluctantly accepted. She then came back 5min later asking us to move for another group, offering us a table again next to the group, we had to bargain for a quieter place when again, place was mostly empty
- Time: we ordered Edamame, which should arrive within 5 min as it's readily available. We waited 15min for the Edamame & drinks to arrive, time during which the waitress came to ask what our main food order would be. We were like, how about we get what we ordered first?
- Ambiance: great at the beginning, but then around 9pm, music volume was increased dramatically & it because almost a club playing EDM. Kept receiving notification on my watch about loud environment, we decide to leave early
The decor was really cute. The service was great & so was Louis! He was really kind & understanding & allowed us to choose something else from the menu because the meal we took (Mazemen dry age beef) was too salty. The beef was dry & hard & the mazemen itself had the texture of instant noodles (Indomie). We had the soba noodle salad & it was a disappointment. The soba was soggy & the whole salad tasted like the Froot Loot cereals. We had the assorted tempuras & it was ordinary. The duck baos were good! I’m disappointed that my first experience at Shushuto was overall underwhelming in terms of the food, but the service was excellent.
Un seul mot à dire, excellent, le katsu curry est à tomber. Merci à Louis pour son service impeccable, on a bien rigolé ! Ainsi qu’à Samantha qui a vraiment été adorable ! ?
Our main course plates were delivered to a nearby table by mistake. The server noticed the error, after the customers started eating. He approached them & took their plates away, went to the kitchen, & then re-served the same plates to us. When we called him out on what we witnessed, he said he had the kitchen swap out items which had been touched, then re-served plates to us. That really totally inappropriate service & an unacceptable practice on the part of the restaurant. A ‘not so smart move' on the part of the server. Our first & last time there!!!!
