Overall very good. Personal opinion but hot chocolate & the bourbon vanilla pancake are not great. It's not the fluffy Japanese pancake you expect, it's quite dense I would say. The green tea pancake was better than vanilla.
Very lovely crew, nice restaurant interior, but tbh the food was subpar. We went for their Japanese brunch & it was rather disappointing. Nothing on our plate was created with the palette of Japanese cuisine. It didn't taste bad, it it was your usual Montreal greasy potatoes with avocado, dry bread & more greasy mushrooms. As someone who lived in Japan for years, this was sad. But again, as far as generic food goes, it was fine.

Not very crowded on a early saturday night. The atmosphere was spot on, cosy & warm with music not too loud but enough to give it a nice vibe. The service was also excellent. Especially appreciated the consistent water refills. I had the roasted duck shoyu ramen. This is the first time ever that I drink all the ramen broth. It's so flavorful without being too salty. Overall a 5 star dining experience!
Thr main plates were delicious & it only took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Unfortunately the reason for my low review was the amount of time it took for our plate clean up & for our desserts. We waited r0 minutes for ice cream & a piece
of cake that was small in size for sutch a high price. The restaurant was clearly understaffed

Good Japanese inspired brunch. We ordered the pancakes, sizzling steak, duck mazemen & karaage. All dishes were tasty but nothing blew me away. The mazemen was a bit too sweet for me & the pancakes were more like a cake texture & not jiggly. Overall, a good experience!
We were there for a birthday dinner. The cocktails were great. We had three kinds of appetizers. The taste & presentation were fantastic. As for the main course, we went for the Ramen which was perfect. We didn't try the fusion dishes, so we're definitely going back. As for the service, Santiago was a great server, he was courteous & patient & provided all the explanations we needed. Great experience 👌

The place is so nicely decorated & feels fancy. We went for brunch & it was fairly busy but still the staff still checked on us every once in a while which was nice. The food was ok, but not consistent. Two of us ordered the same matcha pancake but recieved two different dishes. One was thick clumpy sauce & the other was so runny & didn't have much of matcha taste. However the amount of food was really good that we had to take the leftovers. The drinks were ok too but a bit over priced for the amount as most of it was ice.
L'ambiance du restaurant est vraiment sympathique mais le service n'est pas à la hauteur. L'attente était vraiment longue, les plats servis en décalage avec plus de 20min pour les plats principaux entre les personnes à table. & la qualité des plats était moyenne.
Came for their brunch menu, & was not disappointed. The food taste amazing ! We've had the famous tiramisu espresso, curry udon with mushroom, & the matcha fluffy pancake. Service was also a 10/10. You have to try it.
The food at Shustoto was truly exceptional - incredibly flavourful, beautifully presented & true value for your money. The service was friendly & welcoming & the ambience was great. It is also beautifully decorated & styled. We will definitely be back!
